As soon as Yoongi stepped through the door of the classroom, all conversations going on between the few groups of students who were in the classroom already stopped, eyes trained on Yoongi. Ignoring the stares, he walked to where the teacher was sitting. The older man looked up from his work and smiled at the short ravenet.
"Hello, you must be the transfer student, Min Yoonji, right?," the students echoed their teacher in whispers hidden behind hands and not so subtle points.
"That's right," he replied, already speaking in the higher pitched voice he had practiced with.
The teacher smiled widely, "I'm glad to have you in my class. My name's Mr. Choi."
He then asked Yoongi some questions about his past education, and the ravenet told him about the fake background information the Boss had written about in the mission files. After that, as more students filed into the classroom, Yoongi was given his textbook and workbooks for class.
"Ah, there you are, Jimin! This is Min Yoonji, our new transfer student. Yoonji, this is our class president, Park Jimin," Mr. Choi's eyes were trained on someone behind Yoongi, and he turned to look at who it was.
The teen standing behind Yoongi had his dark eyes trained on Yoongi, chubby cheeks stained pink as he smiled shyly at Yoongi, "Ah, hi! I'm Jimin. Welcome to our school!"Really, the boy was quite attractive, with ridiculously plump lips and cheeks, and silvery blonde hair that ended just above his eyes. His smile was like an angel's, pearly white teeth on display, although his cheeks were slowly darkening. Yoongi wondered if Jimin was ever without his smile, as it seemed to be permanently attached to his cute face.
"Uhm, hello," Yoongi said, and as he stared directly at Jimin, the shorter teen averted his glance.
The class president's small hands were fidgeting together, but his bright smile never left his face. As he opened his mouth to say something, the bell rang, and Mr. Choi gestured for the two to stand in front of the classroom, and for Jimin to introduce Yoongi to the class.
"Everyone, we have a new transfer student with us. Please introduce yourself," his blonde hair bounced a little as he bowed his head towards Yoongi.
Swallowing what shreds of his pride that he had left, Yoongi put on a small smile, trying to seem prim and proper, "Hello, My name is Min Yoonji, and I moved from Daegu. Please take care of me."
A few coos of endearment and whispered questions echoed around the classroom and, and Yoongi wanted to strangle the boy who then yelled out "Wow, so pretty!" The teen had an dorky smile across his face, showcasing his dimples, and messy olive green-brown hair. Yoongi decided right then and there that he disliked the olive haired boy.
"Thank you, Yoonji. You can sit in the empty seat behind Jeongguk over there," Jimin said, and Yoongi noticed that his pink cheeks were finally cooling down.
The boy Jimin was gesturing to had his hand under his chin, and was staring sharply at Yoongi, with an irritated air around him. The teen was attractive, with doe like eyes and a sharp jaw, but the glare that appeared on his face as Yoongi walked over to sit behind him made him seem a lot less attractive.
As he put down his bag, he heard a quiet, amazed voice murmur, "Wow, how can she be so pretty...?"
When he turned his head to see who had said that, Yoongi nearly choked from how much the student seemed to glow, a dreamy, heart shaped smile gracing his features. It was obvious from the books in his hand and piled on his desk that the teen liked to read, but instead of looking like a dork as many bookworms did, he looked like a model with a dancer's body.
The boy in the front row with glasses had his mouth hanging open slightly, as his gaze darted from the notebook in front of him to Yoongi, then back again, obviously trying to be subtle with his staring. When Yoongi stared directly at the teen as the two met eyes, the teen stopped trying to look at Yoongi and stared directly at his notes.
The lesson for the day started soon after, halting his classmates' attempts at socializing with him. Annoying Boy had immediately tried to talk to Yoongi from a few seats away, but was hushed by Mr. Choi. However, once the lesson ended and the teacher gave his students time to study and work on their homework. Annoying Boy stood up abruptly, knocking over his chair in the process, and scooted his desk in between Yoongi's and the orange haired boy who sat across the aisle from him.
"Hey! Can I study with you?" He asked, although it was obvious that he wasn't looking for an answer as he immediately began reading out definitions.
Yoongi put on the best resting bitch face he had, which was pretty damn good, and running his fingers through strands of his hair, trying to make it obvious that he didn't care as Annoying Boy rambled on about what they were studying about. The olive haired boy threw out light flirts as he read from the textbook, throwing finger hearts towards Yoongi, who just shook his head and rolled his eyes.
"Hey! Kim Namjoon!" The boy with glasses suddenly turned around to glare at Namjoon, "Move your seat back to where it belongs, alright?"
The olive haired boy deflated, all cheerful energy gone, as he muttered his apology, reluctantly pulled his desk back to where it belonged and sitting down with a pout. When Namjoon had sat down, the teen with glasses took the opportunity to pull his chair over to Yoongi's desk, as if he didn't just tell the other teen off for doing the same thing.
He grabbed his workbook and looked up at Yoongi from under his glasses, "Y'know the exam is in two days."
Yoongi wasn't too worried about the test, and hummed disinterestedly as the brunet continued, "My name's Kim Taehyung. I can help you with English, I'm pretty good at it."
"I don't really need help with English," The ravenet shut poor Taehyung down, and the brunet blinked a few times as he thought of how to respond.
"What do you think about a guy like me?"A few of their classmates broke out into giggles at Taehyung's blunt question, but the brunet proceeded to take off his glasses and put them in Yoongi's hands, "These are the glasses that I've had for the past nineteen years. So, since I was born."
Really, Yoongi could care less, but the way the teen was pausing every so often to try and come up with a response was amusing him.
"These... will help you concentrate!"
The ravenet was silent for a second, "But you need them to see, don't you?"
As the brunet tried to come up with a response, Yoongi put the boy's glasses on his head with a smug "Thanks", and Taehyung's eyes landed on the glasses sitting on the top Yoongi's forehead.
"Although I've had them, I haven't been able to concentrate since you arrived. I'll only concentrate on you for now on," Taehyung finally said, smiling to himself as if he was proud that he found something to say.
"Go back to concentrating on your studies," Yoongi replied cooly, pushing the teen's workbook back against his chest.
With a small gulp, Taehyung was about to respond, but was interrupted by the bell ringing. The sounds of chatting students filled the air as the students began to pack up and leave the classroom.
"I'll see you around, Yoonji!" Tahyung beamed, before picking up his stuff and exiting the room.
It was only first period, and yet Yoongi had already gotten more attention than he had ever wanted. Hopefully, his next class would be better, but with how his classmates had acted, he seriously doubted it. As he walked down the hallways towards his next class, Yoongi couldn't help but curse the Boss for the umpteenth time.
