As much as Yoongi got along with his boss, sometimes, he just wanted to slap the man. Of course, he didn't know his boss' real name, only addressing him as the Boss, as the Boss would only refer to Yoongi as his code name, Suga.

"Let me get this straight, Boss; you want me to go undercover at a high school to try to find two gang leaders? Not only are you sending me back to school, but you want me to pretend to be a girl?" It took all of Yoongi's self control not to scream at the calm man sitting in the desk front of him and wipe the peaceful look off of his face.

The Boss simply smiled, always an image of serenity, "Exactly that. I have my reasons."

"Then grace me with the pleasure of knowing why the fuck you are making me do all this," the black haired teen snapped back, starting to lose his temper, adding a snide, "I'm not a field agent, you know."

"Well, Suga, the main reason I've assigned you is because you are the youngest agent we have, as you are technically a third year, although you are homeschooled. You'll blend in just fine," the Boss explained calmly, leaning across his desk towards the chair where the black haired teen was sitting.

Although he couldn't argue against the fact, Yoongi still wasn't happy with part of his assignment, arms crossing tightly over his chest, "I can understand that, but why do I have to dress up like a girl?"

"The gang leaders and members are more likely to trust a cute girl, believe me. You have such feminine features, it will be easy to hide the fact that you are a male," he ignored the teen's sharp glare at the comment.

"I won't be able to change anything, will I?" when the Boss nodded in response, Yoongi slumped in his seat and groaned.

A chuckle escaped the Boss' lips as the teen moped, "I'm sure your mother will be ecstatic to have a daughter. You could ask her to help you with your makeup."

"Just give me the fucking mission files already."

An hour later, the black haired teen was unlocking the door to his and his mother's apartment, mission files buried in his bag. As he stepped inside and took off his shoes, Yoongi called out to tell his mother that he was home. He walked towards his mother's room, poking his head inside to see his mother, Min Jiae, hard at work at her desk, dark circles under her eyes and messy hair falling out of her bun. Once, she had been young and full of energy, but those days were long gone, replaced with lonely nights that dragged on and an endless stream of paperwork.

"Yoongi, welcome home. What's your new assignment about?" She smiled tiredly but warmly at her son, gesturing for him to sit on her bed.

Jiae had formerly worked at the same agency Yoongi now worked in, and was the main reason why her son was hired there at such a young age. As she had raised and trained Yoongi to one day work there, just as she had. A young Yoongi would always ask his mom to tell him the story of why she resigned from the agency, though she would simply laugh and tell him that one day, she'd tell him. Later, she had told him that her birth name was not originally Jiae, but swore to never tell him her birth name for security reasons.

"How 'bout this, one day, if you become the best agent ever, I'll tell you," she had said with a smile to her middle school aged son.

Her promise had disappeared into Yoongi's distant memories, as becoming an agent took up almost all of his time. What few hours he had left went to his homeschooling lessons with his mother.

The teen sighed loudly, dramatically sitting down on the bed, "I have to go back to school to uncover two gang leaders."

"How is that bad? Maybe this assignment will help you become more social!" Jiae teased, making her son roll his eyes.

"It gets worse. The Boss wants me to go undercover as a girl. A girl!" His mother burst into laughter as Yoongi flopped backwards with a loud groan.

She reached out to rest her hand on Yoongi's knee, "You'll make a great girl, sweetie."

The two plotted out a plan for Yoongi's first day undercover, which was a mere week away. Of course, his mom wanted to pick out the perfect hairstyle for her son to wear, and Yoongi had no choice in the matter, his mother picking out extensions for a long bob with bangs. An agent had come over to put in the extensions, which were special because they were somewhat permanent, just to make sure no one would accidentally pull Yoongi's hair and pull off the extensions.

"So, introduce yourself to me," Jiae said as Yoongi practiced talking in a higher pitched voice.

He was long past complaining, simply sighing, "My name is Min Yoonji and I moved from Daegu. Please take care of me."

Jiae squealed, clapping her hands together, "Perfect! I'm so excited for your first day."

"That makes one of us," He grumbled, tugging at the strands of his hair, still not used to the longer length.

With a small, pitiful smile, Jiae wrapped her arms around her son, "I know this is hard for you, but you're going something great. Digging out those gang leaders is going to help this town, so, so much."
Of course he knew all that, but Yoongi felt like whining for the last day he had before going undercover, "I know, I know. Hey, have you heard anything about the Sanguine or Chained gangs? My targets are their leaders, Jay Jay and Phantom."
Both of the gangs and their leaders had dumb names, something Yoongi continuously commented on internally while going over the mission files.

"Sanguine leaves their tags everywhere, but I have never heard of them doing anything very violent, only petty theft. But Chained, I've never heard of them."

When Yoongi was woken up by this alarm the next morning, he groaned and turned over, not wanting to get up. He only got up and started getting ready when his mom ripped the blanket off him and flashed his lights on and off. The school's uniform wasn't that bad, but Yoongi would have to get used to wearing his skirt.

After he emerged from his bedroom with a scowl, Jiae styled his hair and put some makeup on him, ignoring his whiny complaints. She nearly sobbed when Yoongi said goodbye before heading to the train stop, crying how her little boy was so grown up. Because watching her third year son, dressed as a girl, go to school means he's grown up.

Once he reached the school, Yoongi marched through the hallways, stare void of emotion as students pointed and whispered. They didn't matter to him, anyways, as he wasn't at the school to make friends. He'd gotten his schedule already, and chose to go directly to class. Once Yoongi reached his new classroom, labeled 3-A, he took a deep breath to try and calm himself.

"Rest in peace, Min Yoongi" he thought to himself dryly as he pushed open the sliding door.
