Arthit rolled onto his back. He jerked his leg, trying to kick off the blanket. It was hot. He turned on his left. He scratched his chest, his eyes still closed. He searched for a cooler spot on his pillow and nuzzled his face into it. He heard a low chuckle. His eyes fluttered open and the last wisps of sleep clinging to him vanished. Kongphob was lying on the bed next to him on his right facing Arthit. His hands were pillowed under his head, watching Arthit.

Arthit blinked.

Kongphob was still there.

"Good morning, P'Arthit."

Kongphob smiled at him. Arthit reached out, to touch the younger boy's face. He brushed his forefinger on the other's eyebrow, running it along the nose and then to his cheekbone.

"Mornin'", he mumbled.

Kongphob then tucked the raven lock of hair behind his ear. He chuckled again as Arthit's eyes shuttered with the touch.

"How is your headache?" Arthit asked, his voice muffled against the pillow.

"I didn't drink that much, P'Arthit." Kongphob rubbed slow, smooth circles on the older boy's ear.

"Kongphob.." Arthit said, sounding tired. "I don't want to argue with you only when we have begun." Arthit retracted his hand from Kongphob's shoulder where he had left it resting.

"Does it bother you so much?" Kongphob asked curiously.

"You are just nineteen, Kong."

"Are you calling me a kid again?"

Arthit snorted. "You know what you are." His hand moved up the arm Kongphob was stroking Arthit's ear with and encircled the wrist with his fingers. "Is there.. a reason?"

"We were just celebrating the end of our first year as engineers, P'Arthit." Kongphob reconsidered. "And, we were consoling Em for his love life."

"If you are having a .. problem," Arthit finally opened his eyes, "you will tell me, right?"

Kongphob laughed quietly and leaned in to kiss the pout off Arthit's lips. The older boy yelped.

"Give a warning, eh?" Kongphob loved the blush that decorated the chubby cheeks. He kissed the right cheek and watched it turn a lovelier shade.
