Well done to all the contest entries, it was extremely difficult to judge as there were some great stories entered. I was so impressed that I've decided to award a few highly commended awards to stories that deserve recognition for their awesome work.

I'm still getting questions about confusion about how to enter correctly so obviously, I'm doing a terrible job at explaining. I will have another go when the next contest is launched but my advice is don't worry about it so much.
Until then have a read and I hope it clarifies things.
You will not be penalised for entering incorrectly, as long as you comment your book title and the name of the chapter you want to enter, I will count your entry. The numbering is just a way to keep track of how many stories have been entered.
If you do make a mistake I will just send you a message asking for the correct information, no big deal.
Only the first 50 entries will be counted and I will count them off in the comments, the judges also use these numbers to help divide up the list between us.
Once you get confirmation that you are one of the lucky 50 you will have 48 hours to check out When Winter Falls and leave and comment on the winning chapter and to follow thebrumous!
I give you this extra time so that you can actually have a proper read of the chapter and leave a thoughtful comment. Of course, you don't have to you can always leave a simple congratulations comment.
