Chapter 5

VIOLETS POV

"Hurry up Sam, what's taking you so long are you putting on make up or something?"

"We need to get to the pool now! before I explode from heat stroke!"

Just then the door slams open and standing there in nothing but swimming shorts hanging low around his hips is my best friend. SAM.

Wow I hadn't noticed since now how muscular he'd become.

My eyes start to wonder over what I think is a perfect chest then I bite my lip without even realising what I'm doing.

I hear a small growl and let my lip go.

Wow when did he get so hot.

Oh my Lord those Abs. I wish I could come up with a good reason to touch them but unfortunately for me I can't.

So I just keep staring like a damn pervert.

"Vi, are you checking me out"? he asks with a cheeky lil smirk running across his face.

"Ah,No!"

"You think I'm hot, don't you", he continues to tease.

"You wish, I did", but the redness in my cheeks gives me away. Damn red cheeks!

"You know I don't mind if you check me out, I don't blame you".

"Just shut the hell up Sam before I knock your block off. OK".

"Just saying if you wanna check me out, just go for it, I don't mind at all", he smirks again".

"Ah I don't need your permission, I'll do it if I want, which I don't and I definitely wasn't, Got it"!

"Yes master!"

We grab our towels off my bed and make our way to the pool.

On our way there we bump,  into Aiden.

"What's up bro?"

"What's up you two?"

"Going for a swim", we reply at the same time.

"Jinx", "Double Jinx", then we crack up laughing.

"You guys are too cute, you know that right".

"Shut up" we say in unison.

"I am NOT cute, I'm hot. just ask Vi she knows", Sam laughs with a smug grin on his face.

"Dude you're an absolute toad, for real, you have a face that only a mother could love",
is my response.

"OK Vi, If you say so", Sam chuckles.

"Why don't you come with us Aiden, we haven't hung out in ages".

"Sorry Vi, I really need to get ready for the Alpha meeting tonight".

"Please, just for a little while", I plead.

"I wish I could baby sis, but I just can't right now i'm sorry, but you and Sam go and have fun OK",

"And Vi, when the visitors come, you need to be on your best behaviour alright".

"Yeah, Whatever".

Seeing the sad look on my face Sam places his arm gently around my shoulders and gives me a small squeeze.

"Last one in the pool, sleeps on the floor", he yells then off he goes.

No way I cannot believe Sam beat me this time, he is such a cheater catching me off guard like that.
