Alex' pov

It was my first day back at the DEO. Maggie came with me to make sure that I was okay.

"You still remember the DEO? It's the place where you work." she asked.

"Yes. I'm an agent here. I work with my sister who is Supergirl. Where do you work?" I answered.

"I worked as a detective, but I quit my job a few days ago. I talked with J'onn and he gave me a job here, at the DEO so I could be with you.

"Okay... do you know that Kara is Supergirl?"

"Yes, I have known for quite awhile."

"Okay, that makes sense. I have to go to the doctor today for a check- up. Are you coming with me?"

"If you want me to."

"I would rather want to go alone, I have to ask her something."

"That's fine."

J'onn thought that it was better if I stayed at the DEO and I didn't go on the field. He's my boss, so I had no choice. Luckily, Maggie kept me company. I left after a few hours to go to my appointment.

Charlotte's pov

The next patient was Miss Danvers. She looked quite beautiful.

"Alexandra Danvers?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Come in. How are you doing today, Alexandra?"

"You can call me Alex, everybody does. I'm doing fine by the way."

"Have you had any headache?"

"No, Maggie is taking care for me, she's doing everything she can to have me back. Can I ask you something? Yesterday, she told me about your accident, I just want to know if it is true."

"Yes, Maggie and I were an item and I almost died in a car accident. I'm fine now, I'm glad that I'm alive. Can you remember everything?"

"I think so. It's just my fiancée that I can't remember. Is that normal?"

"Yes, you can't remember some parts of your life because of the damage that has been made. Don't worry, it will come back."

"I hope so."

"Can I ask you something too? How would you feel about getting a drink with me?"

"Now?"

"No, maybe in a few days. I'm quite busy now."

"Seems fun."

A few days later

Maggie's pov

Alex still doesn't remember me, but I know it takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. I was watching tv when she came out of the bathroom.

"Why are you so dressed up? I don't think we're going anywhere." I surprisingly asked.

"Well, I'm going on a date." she answered.

"Wait, what?"

"Well, Charlotte asked me to go for a drink and I thought that it was nice."

"What the hell?! I'm your fiancée and you find it normal to go for a drink with my ex?!"

"I'm sorry but I still don't remember you. And I don't think I'll ever remember you, I guess we didn't love each other that much."

"I want you to try to remember me, I want you back!"

"I'm sorry but I can't. I remember everything, just not you." Alex said.

"You're not going anywhere, we're going to work on our relationship!" I yelled.

"We are not in a relationship! I don't recognize you anymore, you are nothing to me!" Alex screamed.

"How do you dare to speak to me like that?"

"I think you should move out, this isn't working anymore."

"Fine, here's your ring." and I gave it back to Alex.

Alex left the apartment without saying something.
