Maggie's pov

I packed my bags as soon as Alex left, I was angry at her and myself. I couldn't go anywhere so I decided to go to Kara's apartment.

*knock*

"The door is open." she screamed.

"Hey, Kara. It's me, Maggie. I've got a problem."

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

"I think Alex and I just broke up." I said, while trying to get it back together.

"What?!" she said, while giving a glimpse at my ring finger.

"We had a fight. She's on a date with Charlotte Montgomery, my ex. I asked why she would do that to me, she said that Charlotte was nice to her. I answered that we should focus on our relationship, and she responded by saying that I'm nothing to her. I just lost it, and gave my ring back. She kicked me out of our apartment. Can I stay with you for some time?"

"Of course, I'm so sorry, Maggie. Are going to be okay at work, you have to work with Alex, right?"

"I can't quit my job now. I'll just have to go with it."

"It's going to be okay, I will make sure of that. I will go talk to her in a few hours, I can change her mind about you."

"Thank you, Kara."

Kara's pov

Maggie couldn't stop crying so I got some ice cream for her. Later, I stopped by Alex' apartment.

*knock*

"Who is it?"

"It's Kara, I'm coming in."

"No!"

Too late, I saw her kissing with Charlotte.

"Alex! What are you doing?! That is Charlotte Montgomery, your fiancée's ex!"

"I think you should go Charlotte, I have to talk with my sister." she said to her.

Charlotte took her coat and closed the door.

"What are you doing, Alex?"

"I kicked Maggie out of my apartment. I couldn't handle it anymore, I just don't remember her. I know that she's my fiancée but for me, she's just a stranger."

"Are you even trying to remember her? She loves you so much, you hurt her feelings really bad."

"Stop talking to me like that! I don't remember her and I never will! I'm happy with Charlotte, she loves me."

"So does Maggie!"

"No, she's nothing to me!" Alex said with no emotion.

"You know what? Do your thing, I don't recognize you anymore, you're not even my sister." I said, while trying not to cry.

"Fine."
