Kara's pov

I went home after a hard day at the DEO. Alex and I aren't really talking like we used to but it was her own fault.

*knock*

"It's me, Kara. I brought a pizza. Maggie?"

"Hey, Kara." she sobbed.

"Why are you crying?"

"I'm letting Alex go. She doesn't need me anymore, I'm leaving National City for good."

"You what?"

"Didn't she say anything? She got engaged to that Charlotte- bitch. She hates me, and it feels like torture. It's better if she doesn't see me again."

"She did what?"

"It's too late, Kara. I already packed my bags and I'm leaving in two days."

"I'll take care of this, you're not leaving!"

I went to Alex' apartment and stormed in. She was there with Charlotte.

"Hey, Kara. I didn't expect you to come. Now that you're here, I've got something to announce. Charlotte and I are..." but I cut her off before she could finish that sentence.

"Engaged... yeah, I know. You're an idiot, you know that?"

"What the hell are you saying?"

"Maggie's leaving National City in two days, you're going to apologise now!"

"No! I'm tired of you bossing me around. I'm happy with Charlotte, don't you have figured that out yet?"

"Leave us alone, Kara!" Charlotte angrily said.

"Do not speak to me that way, you're ruining my sister's life!" and I hit her.

"Out of my apartment, now!" Alex screamed at me.

"Fine, but I never want to see you again!" I yelled.

1 day later

Alex' pov

I was so mad at my sister, I thought she would support me. She abandoned me, but Charlotte was the only one who loved me. My parents came to visit us.

"Hey, Mom and Dad. Come in."

"Hey, sweetie. How are you and Maggie doing?" Mom asked.

"I'm doing quite okay. Maggie and I aren't together anymore."

"Why? You two were so happy together." Dad asked.

"I didn't love her, Dad. My memory hasn't come back, so she was just a stranger to me."

"Oh, I'm sorry, honey." Dad said afterwards.

"It's okay, I actually have great news."

"Tell us." Mom and Dad asked at the same time.

"I've been dating a girl for six months, Charlotte Montgomery." I said while she appeared from the bedroom.

"Dr. Montgomery?"

"Yes, we are very happy and two days ago, Charlotte asked me to marry her. We are engaged!"

"Oh my god, congratulations!" Mom and Dad said.

"Let's drink on that. I got the tequila." Charlotte said.

"Where's the corkscrew?" I asked.

"Look in the drawer in the kitchen, babe."

I opened the drawer and saw a picture. It was Maggie and I kissing under a mistletoe. Suddenly, everything came back. Every word, every touch, every kiss... I love Maggie Sawyer!
