After a half an hour long speech from the head mistress and a surprisingly delicious spaghetti bolegnaise, the students made their way back up to their dorm rooms for the evening. The girl's dorm rooms were located on the left wing of the building, and the boy's on the right. As Harry was making his way up the stairs, Louis ran up and grabbed him by the waist, causing Harry to wobble and nearly lose his balance down the stairs.

Louis was a lot shorter than Harry. A few months ago Harry had measured at about 5 foot 11, and Louis must've only been 5 foot 9 at the most. Harry found it rather sweet how short the boy was; it made him seem rather delicate, although Louis was far from delicate.

"So Harold, we still need to learn how you found you could read people's minds..." Louis said, his arm still on Harry's back. The simple arm gesture had made Harry feel nervous, but he hadn't the faintest idea why.

The two boys arrived in their dorm room to find Niall, Liam and Zayn already in there. Liam had already got changed into his pyjamas, which consisted of a plain black t-shirt and batman pyjama bottoms. The t-shirt enabled the boys to see Liam's arms fully for the first time, which were hugely muscular and strong looking. Liam looked like he could easily kill you in one punch. Niall had simply thrown off his tie, shoes and blazer and left them on the floor, clearly not caring. Zayn was still fully in his uniform, sat on his bed watching Niall and Liam as they chat about something.

"So is it gossip time?" Louis said jokingly before taking his place on the edge of his bunk. Niall laughed and twirled round on the spot he was sat in to look up at Louis.

"You mean saying how we found our powers?" Niall asked. Louis nodded.

"Well yeah, what else were we gonna talk about, "the hottest guy we've seen so far"?" Louis sarcastically snapped back. Harry looked down at the floor at this utterance. Louis looked over to Harry who was stood up against Liam's bunk, not wanting to crouch down on his own bunk.

"Hey, Harold, come up here." Louis said before shuffling over on his bed and patting the space next to him. Harry looked up with surprised eyes.

"Huh?" Harry said, confused. Louis rolled his eyes dramatically.

"You. Sit. Up. Here. Yes?" Louis replied, patting the space once again. Harry just nodded before climbing up the small metal steps and setting down next to Louis.

"Shall I say how I found my power? I mean it's not that interesting but to just get us started ya know." Niall spoke, looking at each boy. No one said anything which Niall assumed was a silent agreement to go ahead.

"Well I was... thirteen?" Niall started, the 'thirteen' being pronounced 'turdeen', "and I was kicking the ball about on the playground with some mates when I tripped and scraped my knee. It ripped a hole open in my school trousers and when I looked I'd cut it pretty badly, with blood running down my leg. I was gripping my knee, and by the time the other lads had run over to me, the cut had gone. Just disappeared. I was baffled. My mates had no idea of what had just happened and I just sat on the playground kinda in shock."

"Well how did you find out that you had made the cut heal?" Zayn asked. Niall looked over at Zayn to answer his question.

"That night I got a knife and cut myself. Not bad, just across the top of my arm..." Niall proceeded to pull his sleeve up and point to where he'd cut, "I wanted to see if I could make it disappear again, and I did. No pain, nothing. I told my mum like any thirteen year old would and she just hugged me and said my dad could do it too. So, yeah..." He pulled his sleeve down and crossed his arms, looking from Zayn to Harry.
