It was little past 8am, the low winter sun just piercing through the overcast clouds of the foggy morning in London. There was a cold nip to the air, but there were more important things to be worried about than that of the weather conditions.

Harry, Liam, Zayn and Jos were stood outside the HQ of 'The Powerful'. Just the name sent shivers down Jos' spine. She had no idea why she'd agreed to do this, and now stood outside this building just made her regret every little decision.

"Remember the plan?" Harry whispered. The others nodded, and cautiously went through the door.

Immediately they were met by two security guards on the other side. They'd expected this after last time, and as one man turned to Liam he punched him straight in the face with one swift movement, knocking him to the floor. Harry locked the other man in place with his mind, and Zayn shot his hands out, releasing a cold flurry of ice which froze the man on the spot.

"Wow." is all Jos uttered, shocked at the immense amount of power the three boys held.

"We've practised more since high school..." Liam shrugged, and Jos' open mouthed expression said all that was needed to be said.

Harry started walking down one of the dark secluded hallways. It was taking them away from the main part of the warehouse and therefore made them presume this is where they'd be keeping Niall; if he was alive.

Soon enough, a metal cellar door leading into a dark room let off alarm bells in their heads. Cautiously, Harry put his hand out and tried the door.

"Locked." he grunted as there was a huge clunk, the handle not budging.

"Watch out." Liam said as he stepped forward and easily snapped the handle off the door, it slowly swinging open.

"That's one way to do it..." Zayn whispered. The four stepped into the room.

Even in the low light they immediately spotted a figure tied to a chair at the end of the room.

"Niall!" Zayn exclaimed, and the four ran forward. Slowly his head lifted up and there was a unison of gasps.

"Oh my god." Jos uttered.

Niall's face was blackened all over, cheeks swollen and eyes blood shot red. His hair seemed singed at the ends, tufts falling out. His look was one of exhaustion and pain.

"Shit Niall," Harry said, dropping down to one knee, "what did they do?"

"She electrocuted me." Niall croaked. His voice sounded as burnt as his face looked.

"We're getting you out of here." Liam said as he went around the back of Niall and snapped the handcuffs off from around his wrists. Niall fell forward in his seat and Harry caught him.

"I'll carry you. You'll be okay." Harry said, offering a smile to comfort him as much as he could.

"I don't think so."

Their heads snapped towards the door where the voice had been heard. There in the doorway stood Cons.

"I see your friends have decided to come and try and rescue you. Shame none of you are going to make it out alive."

"You can fuck right off." Zayn spat. Cons laughed, revelling in the moment. She seemed to be enjoying this, as if it was a little game and she knew she was going to win.

"Shall we just get started?" Cons sighed, suddenly picking up her hands and shooting a bolt of electricity forward. In response Zayn shot forward his hands and manipulated the electricity, turning it into water which fell to the floor in a massive puddle.

"This could get more exciting." Cons cackled as she placed her hands in the puddle and electricity sparked out. Zayn jumped back from the water.

"Try and get me now!" Cons shouted manically.

Harry placed Niall back down on the chair, preparing for battle. He looked across at Jos who was shaking madly.

"You ready?" Harry asked, and Jos nodded.

Together, Harry and Jos dove into Cons' mind, deeming control of it. Harry felt the connection between himself and Jos, and the rush of power that took over him as he felt himself going deeper and deeper into Cons' mind.

"You think you can beat me?" she said through clenched teeth, and electrical currents were sent through her mind. Jos gasped out in pain, clutching her head.

"DON'T LET GO!" Harry screamed,
sweat dripping down his forehead.

Liam attempted to dodge the water in order to fight her hand to hand, but the electricity was madly jumping about, licking the floor in search of human contact. Zayn attempted to manipulate the water further but the electricity just increased. It became a battle between Jos and Harry and Cons.

Harry clenched his jaw as he fought through the pain. Spikes of electricity attacked his mind and he felt something similar to an electrically charged knife stabbing him in the brain. He continued to fight against her though, despite the excruciating pain.

Suddenly he could feel the power on his side weakening, and he looked across to Jos to find her losing control.

"DON'T LET GO JOS." Harry repeated, but it was too late. She sat on the floor, exhausted and in pain, staring up at Harry with scared, pitiful eyes.

Harry turned back to Cons, her power far greater than his own.

"This isn't going to end well for you."
Cons laughed as she felt her power overcoming Harry's. Harry suddenly let go and fell down with his knee to the ground, hand on waist.

"Are you weak boy?" Cons insulted, "can you not take on the power of me?"

Zayn and Liam stood behind Harry as in a way to support and protect him.

"We'll see..." Harry whispered as he looked up. In his hand he held a gun, and with a quick action two shots were fired.

Cons fell to the ground and Harry collapsed backwards, his mind now fully released from the menacing grasp.

Zayn, Liam and Jos stood in shock, staring at the gun Harry had now dropped to the floor. Niall sat with weak, wide eyes that darted from Harry to Cons on the floor.

"Harry..." Jos whispered, taking a few steps back. Zayn and Liam did the same, getting closer to Niall.

Harry lay motionless on the floor, weak from his mind being controlled. Did he really just kill someone? Again? Was he now a mass murderer?

Loud footsteps were heard from not too far away, so Liam picked up Niall and pulled Harry up onto his feet. Harry gathered whatever energy he had left, scooped up the gun, and followed the others already making their way out of the warehouse as Liam carried half of his weight.
