Heading out on the road my mind is racing. I keep hoping we make it in time to save our Mom. I let Aaron drive us to where our she is hidden. Aaron told us there is a magical barrier over the house to keep the evil forces out, but it still can be broken. Joseph had to go on an assignment, so he told us he would catch up with us later.

"Morgana is one of the most powerful witches out there." "You both have to quick to react to anything she does or says." Aaron says.

"We will." I say.

We are going to kick some witchy ass!" Heather says.

"Language please." I say.

Heather groans. " You sound just like Mom."

I grin at her. We turn onto a dirt road that goes on forever

"Are we there yet?!" Heather asks.

" Not yet, but soon." Aaron says.

" Not soon enough." I say.

Heather sighs and leans back on the backseat. The worst feeling in the world is to lose a loved one. We already lost one, to the best of our knowledge. We were not in the mood to lose another

Aaron had pulled down onto a curvy path with trees all around us. He finally stopped in the middle of nowhere. We all get out and stretch our legs. As I look behind us there was just trees surrounding us and no more curvy path.

"What happened to the path?!" I ask.

Yeah, and where is the house?! Heather asks.

When he didn't respond at first I impatiently ask "Well!?"

"Whoa, slow down tiger" Aaron says.

"I told you earlier that the house has a magical barrier around it."
"The spell to let us in is in your book." You both need to say it for it to work." Aaron says.

Heather and I huddle together with the book. We close our eyes.

"Remember Tabitha said to clear your mind of all thoughts and concentrate." " The house will appear in front of us after you say the spell." Aaron says.

I squeezed Heather's hand to let her know I was ready. She squeezed back. We opened our eyes and began chanting "By the light of moon's wane, let the spell be reversed, as i enter sacred space, return my soul to grace."

The wind started to pick up but didn't see anything appear in front of us.

"What happened!?" Heather asks.

"Why didn't the house appear?!" I ask.

"I don't know." "Try it again, but this time chant it louder and hold hands."Aaron says.

I nod at him. Heather and I hold hands. Closing our eyes again to clear our thoughts. Opening them I was ready. We recite the spell again loud and clear.

The wind picks up even fiercer than before and a house appears in front of us. Breathing a sigh of relief I close the book and tuck it into my bag.

Heading towards that door Aaron speaks up and says " Wait, something doesn't feel right." " Let me go in first and check it out."

"Why can't we all go in?" Heather asks.

"Because you are new to this whole being witches." I need to make sure its safe." Aaron says.

"But......?!" I say.

" But nothing" "Stay here." He says.

"Ok." I say.

"Sheesh, what a buzzkill." Heather says. I laugh.

It was getting dark out and chilly. Aaron emerges from the house.

"Is our mom in there?" Heather asks.

"I don't see anyone, the house is ram sacked." Aaron says.

"Does that mean we are too late?!" I ask.

"I don't know, Buttercup." Aaron says sadly.

Just then we hear a rustling in the woods getting closer. Aaron morphs into a werewolf. Whatever or whoever had made it to us. Aaron gets between us as protection and bares his teeth. The person gasps. In the dark all we could make out was a long black cloak. I hold my hand out as to signal i was going to investigate and i slowly walk towards the person. When I reached them I find it to be a female. She looks up at me and then I see the hint of dark hair and green eyes.

"Paige?!" I run up to her and hug her. "W-what are you doing here?" She hugs me back.

"I was sent to help protect your mom, but I'm afraid something has gone wrong." "You're mom is missing." "I was told by one of the fairies that Morgana broke the magical barrier and took your mom to her kingdom in the deep forest of Alcadia."

"Oh no! Heather gasps."

"We have to go save her." I say.

"I'm coming with you." Paige says.
