Finding the stairs we start walking up them slowly. All poised and ready for the next attack whenever that may be. I stop at the top of the stairs. I just stood there looking into the distance.
"What's wrong, Buttercup?" Aaron asks.
"Are you getting another bad vibe, Sis?" Heather says.
"No....yes...." I sigh."No, its just I was thinking. I paused. A few moments went by.
"Thinking what?" Paige asks.
"I think we should split up. Paige, you and Aaron go down one corridor and heather and I will go down the other.
"Do you think that's safe?" "What if you need us?" Aaron asks.
" I feel heather and I can handle this." " We need the two of you to just fight off whatever comes our way, so we don't have any distractions while saving our Mom." "You are not always going to be with us, there are going to be other assignments to tend to."
" I know but you both are still new to all this." Aaron says.
"You trained us well, Master. Heather says. We all grin.
"Alright, let's do this." Paige says.
Paige and Aaron head left and we head right. Walking for a while heather says " How many bedrooms does this castle have?" "I have seen at least 10."
"Morgana's bed chambers is what we need to find." My feeling is that's where she has Mom.
"I hope mom is OK." Heather says.
" I'm sure she is, Sis." "Mom is strong." I say. Heather gives a weak smile.
Meanwhile in Morgana's bed chambers she looks into her magical crystal ball and watches Deanna's daughters and their sidekicks split up and take different directions.
"Those foolish daughters of yours and their pathetic little friends have made it into the castle." "That won't last for long." " I will send stronger of my minions to defeat them all." Morgana says.
Deanna is completely shackled to the wall across the room from Morgana. She is weak and tired. Before Morgana grabbed her she sent her little pets to weaken her. Therefore it being easier to take her captive. Deanna had a gash on the side of her face. It had dried blood on it. Her other eye was black and blue. Her bottom lip was split open.
"My daughters have been trained well and will defeat you, Morgana." Deanna says weakly. She coughs and a little blood seeps out of the side of her mouth.
Morgana laughs. "Do you really believe those clowns that trained them were successful?!" She laughs again. This angers Deanna.
"Yes, I do." Deanna says sternly.
"We will see about that." Morgana says. She smiles deceitfully. "I think I will send some of my lizard soldiers who can throw fire."
"They will be able to deflect those fireballs" Dana has my telekinesis power and heather can freeze time." Deanna says.
Morgana laughs again. "Your daughters are weak and are baby witches. "They are no match for my lizard soldiers." Just then about 20 lizard soldiers rushed into Morgana's chambers.
"Yes, Mistress?!" The head lizard soldier says.
"We have intruders in the castle." "Two went down the left corridor and the other went to the right." "Bring me overall the two females that are closer to my chambers in one piece." I will deal with them myself." Morgana says.
He nods his head and they take off.
Paige and Aaron are getting nowhere. Just one room after another.
"Its useless." " Unless we open all of these doors we will never find Morgana's chambers." Paige says feeling frustrated.
"I wonder if Dana and Heather have had any luck." Aaron says.
Seeing the concern in his face Paige hugs him.
" I'm sure they are fine, they know how to handle it." She says.
"I know but I still worry." Aaron says
Paige shakes her head slowly yes.
"I....I...Love her." Aaron says.
"I know you do, and she loves you." Paige says.
"How do you know that?!" Aaron asks.
"Its written all over her face." "Same with you." Paige smiles.
Aaron smiles back.
"We gotta find Morgana and fast." Aaron says.
They start running now. Reaching the next door Aaron throws it open and goes inside.
He signals nothing there to Paige and they keep moving on to the next. They do this a few more times. Almost feeling like giving up they lean against the wall. They hear heavy footsteps.
Trying to go back which way they came but footsteps had caught up.
"There they are!" Yells the head soldier.
Aaron and Paige take off.
The soldiers race after them. Fireballs started ricochetting off the walls. One flew over Paige's head as she managed to duck.
Running to the opposite corridor where Heather and Dana went down. The soldiers were getting closer. One managed to catch up to Paige. He threw a fireball and hit her in the side of the leg. She winces in pain and falls to the ground.
