I was moved to the couch. My head was spinning and I had a headache. I sat up against the pillow and with a shaky voice I said w-what happened?"

" You're temper got the best of you, but you had every right to be mad" Heather says as she walks over to me. She glares at Aaron. He hangs his head in guilt. I felt bad for blowing up at him. I almost literally did. Good thing we were learning simple potions and spells. Looking at him upset caused my heart to melt and go out to him. I have cared about this man for a long time. He is slowly pulling on my heart strings with all that he does for us.

"Is Mom ok?!" I ask.

"As far as I know she is." Aaron says.

"That's not good enough."
"Heather and I need to know for sure she is alright." "A phone call isn't going to cut it." I say.

"We need to see her."  "As soon as possible." Heather says. I nod in agreement.

"I'm not sure its safe yet to take you both where she is." Aaron says.

"There has to be some way we can, so we won't lose our sanity over it." I say.

"She's the only parent we have left." Heather says sadly.

Tears start forming in my eyes. I didn't like crying because to me it showed weakness. I couldn't help it they just started streaming down my face. Heather and I look at each other. At this point we are both crying.

"Alright, I cave." I will make a call and confer with Joseph that its ok to go see your Mom." Aaron says.

Heather and I start to smile a little. Once we see our mom and that she's alright we will feel so much better.

We head back into the kitchen to work more with Tabitha. Aaron went to find Joseph and make that call. It seemed like ages since we saw them both. It was already dark and gloomy out. It had been a long day and we needed food and rest.

We were putting plates and silverware on the table when Aaron and Joseph came in through the front door. They had concerned looks on their faces which made us as well.

"Did you find out anything else about Mom? Heather asks.

"Not much more than what I told you earlier" " Talking to Joseph though he has a major concern about what he was told upstairs."Aaron says.

"What were you told, Joseph?!" Heather asks.

Joseph clears his throat and says I was told that there is an evil witch named Morgana that's after your Mom." She wants to wipe out your whole blood line."
Tabitha gasps.

" She is a horrible witch." Morgana means business." Tabitha says.

"When can we leave?!" Heather and I say.

'First thing tomorrow morning."
Joseph says.

Heather and I both groan.

"Tabitha will you prepare for tomorrow and teach them the spell and potion to vanquish an evil witch." Joseph says.

Tabitha nods at him. This is going to be a long night. Nobody messes with my family and gets away with it. Heads will roll. Here witchy witchy, I've put a spell on you and now you're mine.

It was past midnight until Tabitha thought we were ready and knee everything. My eyes were droopy.

"Being a witch is hard work." I say.

"I second that." Heather says and plops down on the couch.

Tabitha comes over and sits in the chair across from us.
"You both are doing great and picking up on the craft quickly." " It makes me proud." "Your mother will be as well." "I met your Mom once a long time ago." "Very strong woman but stubborn at times." Tabitha laughs.

"Yes, she is." "This one here is very stubborn as well." I grin at Heather.

"You're one to talk, Sissy." Heather says crossing her eyes at me. I laugh.

"You won't have any trouble saving your mom, but however its going to be tough." Tabitha says.

" Nothing in this business is easy." Aaron says.

"You can say that again." I say.

"Nothing in this business is easy." Aaron grins at me. I give him a really?! Look.

"I think its time for all of us to go to bed."You have a long day ahead of you. Tabitha says.

We all say our goodnights and head to bed. That night the bad dream comes back. I'm tossing and turning. I wake up and in the shadows I see the outline of Aarons body and sigh in relief.

"You had the bad dream again huh?!" Aaron asks. I just nod at him. My throat felt so dry. I needed a drink of water. I get up and head to the kitchen with Aaron following me. I pour myself some water and lean back on the counter. The water was soothing but I still had that sick feeling of someone hurting my Mom.

Aaron wraps me in his arms and just holds me. After a few moments he takes his hand and picks my chin up. His eyes were glowing. I could feel the intensity of his stare. He leans his head down and I meet him halfway and we kiss. I have my hands on his shoulders and his are around my waist. He pulls me closer. This man has my heart and soul. What I wouldn't do for him.
