After a week of receiving and sending those little letters back and forth between Ashton and I, he began to make changes in our every day routines.
He made up an excuse to move next to me in maths, claiming he couldn't read the board from in the back where he sat, and next to me would be fine.
About 25 minutes into class, I realized he wasn't actually doing any of the work.
I tore out a piece of paper from my notebook and scribbled messily on it before nudging it towards him.
You're not doing any work?
Nope. I've already passed this class, L.
The fuck??? When???
Online.
Then why did you take it again???
To star gaze.
What??
To look at you, Hemmings.
