LUKE'S P.O.V - 2:05pm

There was silence in the car for a while after I got off the phone to Daniel. I got a text from Daniel saying they were stopping for petrol. "Do we need petrol?" I asked Lauren. "I guess we could top up." She answered. I put Daniel's phone onto track on the GPS. We werent that far from them, but that also meant how far were we from those men?

"Follow Daniel's dot." I said and Lauren nodded.

There was another silence until we reached the gas station. Daniel showed up around the same time as us. I jumped out the car as Lauren was slowing down to park by the pumps and I knocked on Daniels window. He rolled it down. "I dont want Leo in Laurens car." I lent on his door.

"We dont want him in here either!" Ryan exclaimed from the back and Kayla nudged his stomach. I gave him a look.

"Listen, I'm going to end up killing him if he stays in with us. Take him." I said.

"I don't think it would be bad if you did. He doesn't seem like good news." Daniel sighed. "Yeah, no shit. He's a scum." I rolled my eyes as I pushed myself off his car.

"I'll go into laurens car then." Cara unbuckled her seatbelt. We walked back over to them and I saw Lauren filling up her car with petrol.

"Leo, get in Daniels car." I nodded over. "Okey dokey!" Leo exclaimed as he hopped out.

"Bye bye Leo!" Stuart waved from the back and Leo waved back. Cara sat in the back with Stuart and I stayed outside with Lauren. I lent against the petrol pump stand and crossed my arms.

"What's wrong with you now?" Lauren asked. "Oh nothing, just got some people after us, that's all." I gave her a look.

"You don't have to be so snappy all the time, I'm just saying." Lauren shrugged. I raised my eyebrow. "Well, there's a lot on my mind." I stood away from the petrol stand.

"Me too." Lauren said as she put the pump in. I looked at her in thought.

"I'm going in to pay." Lauren said. "I'll do it. You get in the car." I said. "No, I got it. You don't have to worry about me all the time." She smiled slightly. "I'm coming with you then." I said sternly. She nodded slowly.

I stopped off by Daniels car and told him to drive on.

LAUREN's POV

"I think we should get a snack for Stuart. Maybe it will make him go to sleep. It works for kids and he acts like one." I giggled. "And how would you know it works for kids?" Luke smiled as he looked at the alcohol.

I looked at him but he didn't notice as it looked like he was reading something.

"Um, just common sense I guess." I stammered as I looked away and then he looked at me.

"Oh, I guess." He trailed off.

"Do you like kids?" I asked. He stayed looking at me.

"No." He said then looked at the drinks again.

I felt my heart sink. I can't tell him about Bethany.

"I think I'll get these." He said as he picked up a pack of beer. "When are you going to have those?" I asked. "Whenever." He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Ok." I said quietly. "Are you okay?" He looked suddenly concerned. I nodded quickly and smiled. He didn't look convinced.

Luke went up to pay for the things and I waited by the magazine section. I ran my finger along the prices and I flicked through a few magazines.
