DANIEL & CARA (24)

DANIEL'S POV - 8:18pm

We left the basement and went upstairs back to the others.

Everyone gasped when they saw Lauren and they came rushing over.

"BACK THE FUCK OFF!" Luke shouted at them and they all immediately jumped back. Luke lay Lauren down on the couch.

"What did he do to her?" Stuart asked me quietly. "I don't know. But she isn't waking up." I whispered.

"Where's Leo?" Stuart whispered back. I didn't say anything and just looked at him. Stuart's eyes widened and he covered his mouth.

"Who did it?" Stuart whispered shakily. I looked at Luke. Stuart widened his eyes even more to the point where I was certain they were going to pop out of his head.

"No... No no no." Stuart backed up. "Stu, don't worry about it." I said as I tried to approach him. Stuart put his hand out to stop me and he started hyperventilating.

"What's wrong Stuart?" Cara asked. "Nothing-" I started.

"Luke killed Leo!!!" Stuart blurted out. Cara gasped and everyone looked at Luke.

Luke stood up. "What the fuck else was I supposed to do?! He was there about to take advantage of Lauren! And I heard what he was saying.. He was part of Jace's group." Luke shouted at all of us.

"Still man.. You could've pulled him away first at least. I thought your killing days were over. That's one of the reasons you were put in prison in the first place." Jeremy crossed his arms.

I gave Jeremy a look. Sometimes Jeremy just blurted out things.

Luke glared at him and clenched his fists. Luke went up to Jeremy and grabbed the collar of his shirt and pinned him to the wall.

"My killing days were never over."'Luke spat in Jeremy's face.

Jeremy didn't say anything now. "Anyone else have anything to say to me? Leo deserved it!" Luke kicked the coffee table and broke the leg off it.

"Okay it's fine Luke. Let's take a few deep breaths. Remember what the therapist said." I said as I put my hand on his shoulder.

"You think I give two SHITS about what the dumb ass therapist said?!" Luke pushed me to the side.

I gave him a look then I looked at Jeremy. Jeremy nodded. We both grabbed an arm of Lukes each and I handcuffed them behind his back.

"Daniel you idiot! What are you doing?" Luke elbowed me in the stomach. "The therapist said to this whenever you were getting out of control." I said calmly.

We pushed him down onto a chair in a separate room and tied him to that. "Guys don't be fools. Untie me now! I need to be with Lauren!" Luke wriggled in the chair.

"Luke, you don't want her to see you when you're acting like this." Jeremy said. "Acting like what? I'm perfectly fine!" Luke yelled at him and tried to free himself again.

Jeremy left the room. "Daniel, cmon like." Luke have me an annoyed face. I smiled at Luke and left the room. I locked the door behind me. I shook my head to Jeremy. "He is insane." Jeremy said.

"YOU FUCKING IDIOTS! LET ME OUT!" Luke yelled. That's what we heard for the next twenty minutes.

"How's she doing?" I asked Cara. "She has a pulse, so that's good." Cara chuckled.

"You know I love you, right?" I asked Cara. She looked at me. "Of course I do." She said confused. "And you don't look at me differently when I handle Luke- or anyone like that?" I said.
