They walked through the neighborhood, which seemed pretty nice. The trees were beautiful and the houses were extravagant. After ten houses, the road spread out on both sides and there were houses across. They crossed the street and walked left, which was a very steep walk downwards. Yorktown seemed to be pretty steep. After passing seven houses, Lafayette led Alexander up to the porch of a two story house painted blue, with a few small turtle statues at the front.
Laf rang the doorbell and they waited. The door was opened by a young boy around seven years old stood there. He had dark curly hair and freckles dotted his face here and there. He examined Lafayette and rolled his eyes, then looked at Alex in confusion. "JOHHHN! YOUR GAY FRIEND IS HERE! WITH ANOTHER DUDE THAT ALSO LOOKS PRETTY GAY!" He yelled behind him.
"Henry that's really rude. You're lucky dad isn't home" Said another boy, approaching the door. He ruffled the younger's hair before he could escape. The boy held the door with one hand, while the other was occupied by a small turtle. He was Laf and Alex's age, had long puffy hair tied back in a ponytail, and freckles dotting his whole face (And a body like, woah(I want to know who gets that reference))
I'm going to die if he smiles Alex thought, staring at him. As if on queue, The boy beamed at Lafayette. Aw shit. There goes my soul; gone and dead (Did I use the semicolon right?)
"Hey Laf! Who's this?" He said, smiling at Alex. Do not blush. Do not blush. Do not blush. Alex repeated in his head. "John mon ami! This is Monsieur Alexander! He's kind of my foster brother now and he's also from the Caribbean" Lafayette introduced.
"Hi Alexander! I'm John Laurens and this little guy is Phillip!" He said holding up the turtle which seemed to nod at Alex. "It's nice to meet you John, and Phillip too! You can just call me Alex" Alex stroked Phillip's head. "Mes amies! Let's go find Hercules I would really like for Alex to meet him!" Lafayette exclaimed.
"Yeah hold on. Martha!" John called into the house. An eleven year old girl that resembled John slightly came running down the stairs, "Yeah?'. "You're in charge. I'm going to hang out with my friends. Make sure James and Henry don't get near Phillip and put Mary down for her nap soon." he walked towards the girl and plopped Phillip in her hands "Thanks bye!" John walked out of the door and walked down the porch stairs with Alex and Lafayette. From inside the house you could hear Martha groan.
-----Time skip brought to you by Lafayette being gay-----
After going to Hercules' house and not finding him, Alex dialed his number on the phone
"Hello?" Answered a low voice. "Hey Herc. Where are you we've been looking for you" John replied. "I'm at the store buying junk food" "alright stay there we'll meet you" "alright"
The three walked to the market and Hercules was outside eating a bag of chips. "HEYO PEOPLE! Who's this?" He yelled.
Alexander examined him head to toe. Dark skin, nice build, a headband tried around his hair, and over all looked somewhat intimidating but nice.
"This is Alex. He's Lafayette's new foster brother" John said laying an arm around Alex's shoulder. "Hi Alex! My name's Hercules!" He exclaimed loudly. "I think you'll like him Mon ami" Lafayette said as they placed a kiss on Hercules' cheek.
Alex stared at them a little confused. "I'm sorry but, are you two like a thing?" He asked, looking between the two. They both turned a deep shade of red and laughed a little, "No man! We have like a bromance thing ya know?" Hercules stated. "Y-yeah. Just a bromance" Lafayette chuckled.
John leaned over to Alex's ear, the closeness sending shivers down his spine and causing him to blush. "They're totally gay for each other. Don't let their words fool you" John whispered. They both laughed as Hercules and Lafayette stared in confusion.
A/N So this was kind of shorter and crappier and I'm sorry for that. But anyways next chapter includes panic attacks so YAY PANIC ATTACKS-kill me
