Scarlets POV:
"Oh umm hey Johnny, I don't have a place to stay...." I said slowly not really knowing what to do. He looked down for a second as if he was looking for an answer. "Look come on just come home with me I have an extra room you can stay in for the night" I truly had nowhere else to go, my options were being homeless or staying the night with Johnny.
I nodded following him out of the sketchy basement lair up to the main part of the boxing room. He went into the men's locker room grabbing his bag and his keys, when he came back out he nodded at me to follow him. When we got out to his car I hopped on the passenger side. "So is this when you kill me?" I asked jokingly.
"What the hell are ya talking about?" He asked almost looking offended. "I don't know I just figured if you were ever gonna kill me this would be the moment to do it," I told him giggling a little. He shook his head ignoring my statement as he kept driving.
When we arrived at the house there was another car in the driveway and the lights were on inside the house. "You live with other human beings?" I asked somewhat sarcastically expecting him to maybe have some drug dealers that he lived with. He again ignored my comment and parked the car telling me to get out. I could tell there was a seriousness in his voice.
I unbuckled my seatbelt and grabbed my backpack stepping out of the car. I looked up to see Johnny waiting on me. "I'm serious thank you for this," I told him as he hugged me and led me towards the house. "What happened to your brother wasn't supposed to happen and after that, I knew you needed someone and your deadbeat dad wasn't going to be that someone so you'll always have me." He replied while opening the door. When he did, I heard something I never expected to hear when entering Johnny's house.
"Daddy, you're home!!" A little girl ran to the door jumping into his arms. "Hey, Lilly!!" He said kissing her cheek and looking over to me, "Scar this is my daughter Lilly, Lilly this is my friend Scar" Johnny introduced us as Lilly stared at me while trying to jump into my arms. Johnny handed her over to me as a woman walked to the door wrapping her hands around Johnny and asking how his day was. "Hi, you must be Scarlet, I'm Abby, Johnny's wife"
I think at this moment I blacked out, Johnny couldn't have had a family that's just crazy, like batshit crazy!!! The Johnny I knew was someone who beat people up at a boxing gym and owned a hit company, not the man who had a wife and a child.
"Thank you very much for letting me stay here, I can't thank you enough!" I said while they lead me into the house showing me where I would be staying. Lilly was running close behind us as I felt her grab my hand. "Well Abby it looks like Lilly made a friend," Johnny said happily smiling at his wife. I wish one day I would have a love like this and a family like this.
As I was settling into the room, I heard a knock on the door, "Hey Scarlett, can we talk?" I turned around to see Abby slowly opening up the door peering her head around the door. "Yeah, of course, whats up?" I answered continuing to settle everything into the room not knowing how long I was going to be here. "Are you sure you want to go through with working for Johnny sweetie? I've been here since he started running the company and even before when he worked for his father who owned the company, I've seen how hard it is when he would come home after a hit. He would cry all night long, until one night when he got home and I think he had finally gone numb to it all he just laid there and stared at the ceiling for hours and said nothing." As she finished the statement it was as if she was remembering the moment as if it were happening right now before us.

Kyles POV
I didn't know what time it was. I didn't know where I was. I barely know who I was.
That was a good ass night of partying. I looked over at the clock- 6 am - I look the other way and see a random girl. Shit, why wasn't she left yet? I shook her to wake her up "wha...what time is it?" She asked. "It's 6 am and you need to the hell out of my bed and my apartment," I told her shooing her out while she was complaining and telling me how horrible I was. I really couldn't care less.
I went into the kitchen to make a French roast coffee, it has to be French roast or I won't drink it!! As it's brewing I check my phone to look at the stocks, yes I'm really a nerd. I own a multi-million Dollar company while also being a hugely famous supermodel, come on, my life is amazing. New parties and new girls every night.
I switched over to Instagram as my coffee made a beeping noise to tell me it was ready. When I looked down at my phone I saw this picture of a little family. It was something I personally always wanted but with my field of work being heartless is the way to go. Girls see me and all they see is my job and my money, not who I really am.
I fixed my coffee and walked back into my room. My apartment was truly amazing, the view from my bed made waking up every morning worth it. As I sat back on my bed drinking my coffee all I could think about was the little family and how I wanted something like that.
