I followed Kate back to the stable.
"I'll tack Phantom up and you get ready." Said Kate warning me not to  argue
"Ok then" I walk into the tack stall changing and walking back out.
"Wow Phantom's really clean." I say looking in wonder how she got him so clean.
"He's all ready, and thanks!" She answered back buckling the throat and chin strap back to the bridle. I buckled my helmet up and led Phantom to the warm up arena.
"Cat!" Kim yelled walking over to me from where she was standing at the gate.
"Oh hey Kim I was looking for you" I said relieved I found her
"Shall we go warm up?" She asks
"I'm going into the bleachers to watch." Kate said
"Ok" I answer as she walks over to try bleachers.

I trot over to Kim in the centre of the arena.
"How was that?" I ask curious
"Perfect, now go to arena C for the meter 70 class please and just take deep breaths you will be fine."
"Ok then" I answer her taking deep breaths as I walk to arena C.

"And next up is Cat Miller from Canada on her horse Phantom!" The announcer announced as the crowd cheered.
I trotted into the arena and saluted, I picked up a canter going to a huge oxer clearing it as Phantom shook his head then re-focusing. I pulled on the reins to ask him to shorten his strike but he gained speed and made his stride huge right before the grid.
"Well young 18 year old Cat will take any risk to get that gold medal!" Said the announcer
"Phantom is being goofy, this isn't good Kate! Phantom or Cat or even both or them could get hurt! Let's hope for the best" Kim whispered talking to Kate right beside her. Phantoms cleared the first jump but when he came up to the second he slid on the slick grass landing right into the brick wall as Cat slid into the poles of the jump everything went black.....
