When I woke up I saw people around me
"She's awake" I heard a few people I didn't recognize say then I saw some one fimiliar, who was it? I thought hard then the easy answer came, KIM!!
"Kim?" I managed to say
"Yes Cat?" She answered I could tell there was worry in her voice
"What's wrong?" I got up to my feet feeling sore through my legs and arms
Kim looked around for something "Cat, Phantom is gone."
"What Phantom is at the vet?" I asked not knowing what she meant
"Cat I mean-" she took a breath "Phantom is dead..." She had a few first tears I never have saw from her,
I started to cry.
"I can help" Eric stepped through the crowd as I looked at him.
"What can you help with?" I asked
"I'll give you Hickstead to jump with." He finished "You need a horse"
"But Eric, I'm eliminated I can't jump Hickstead, they won't let me" I finished
"I already talked with them it was hard but they said yes, now let's go get Hickstead ready!" He said exited
I nodded getting up and following Eric as Kim half jogged over to Eric as she whispered
"You sure she is ok to jump?" She asked worried
"Yes I already checked into the office" he answered not even looking at Kim's worried look.
"No I mean is she in good enough condition to jump?"
"I don't know ask Cat if she feels good enough to jump tomorrow" she answered her chuckling a bit
Kim turned toward me and I acted like I didn't hear anything.
"Do you you feel comfortable to ride tomorrow in try meter 80 class?" She asked looking for my answer
"Game on tomorrow" I answer back feeling normal other than a bit dizzy.
