When we finished I looked at the score board it looked like this:
1.Cat Miller
2. Samuel  Conner
3. Eric Lamaze
4. Heather gottenbout
5.Gabi Flowertree
I half scareamed when I saw I was first on the leader board.
"Eric, Kim, Kate! Look at true leader board! I made it to the jump offs with Eric and the idiot Sam!" I said all exited as they walked over from where they were standing in the huge stable.
"I won't be jumping Cat, Hickstead is yours" he said
"No he isn't you own him." I say surprised by this randomness
"No I'm giving him to you.  You jump try best with him" he checked his watch.  "You have 10 minutes before you jump with him." He said.
"Hey Cat I know you go and jump soon but.. Want a grill cheese sandwich?" She asked taking a bite of her sandwich
"Sure" I take a sandwich biting into the bread and cheese.
"Cat Miller up in 5 minutes" the announcer says just as I finish my sandwich and I clip on my helmet.
"I can get Hickstead's bridle on" Kim says, I nod my head yes and I get my black boots on and I grab Hickstead's reins from Kim who was holding him and I lead him to the arena getting on.
"We are all going to the stands." Kim says as I nod looking at her
"You okay up there?" She asks a bit worried
"Nervous" I said
She nods then walks away.  I take a few deep breaths and I enter when the other horse comes out as Sam shakes his head in disappointment.  I smiled a bit as I canter in feeling a bit of hope.

I finish a clean round and a very fast time.
"Good boy!" I say to Hickstead patting the stallion as he walks around in a circle huffing.
Eric walks up as Kim and Kate stuck behind a bit.
"Awesome job Cat!" He said really exited he smiles at me, I smile back.
"Good job Cat!" Kim and Kate say in unison
"Thanks" I say "let's go to the stable" I walk with everyone
" that was soo scary on the last fence that was 7 FOOT!" Kate said relieved I was finished.  I laugh a bit as Kim tells her to chill.

I finally finish unraveling and stuff like that as Kate and Kim tell me they are tired— they weren't even the ones jumping! I said good night to them as they walked away.  Eric finally finishes wrapping Hickstead's legs.  I  walk into the tack stall and change right after I change Eric knocks on the door I say he can come in.  He walks in and walks straight towards me and picks me up kissing me.

I knew I had a perfect friend and a perfect life including a perfect Dutch Warmblood stallion, Hickstead.
