Chapter 4 : The Horror is Real

    We all saw a pale face of a kid wearing bloodstained and ripped clothing. His face was all ruined with a lot of scratch marks. One of his eyeball was sticking out and he had no jaw. I stood there, not being able to stop looking at the boy. Dream screamed at the top of her lungs as Elly ran and shut her mouth with her small hands. As we were running, I turned around and saw Dream fainted. Ren turned around and ran to Dream. He grabbed her and put her on his back. He ran as if he was in a relay race with Dream on his back. Vinny was behind them to protect them and to assist Ren if he needed help. We quickly ran towards a cooking class. The door was locked. Kuki knocked violently.

"Open the goddamn door! It's us! We're not killers. Someone fainted. Help!" Kuki yelled.   

    We finally got them to open the damn door. Ren was the first inside to help Dream. He laid her down on the table and ran to the fridge. He got out a water bottle and Vinny found a cloth. He patted a cold cloth on her head, to stop her from sweating.

"How long will we be staying in this classroom?" I asked while catching my breath.

    "Until that freak is gone," Elly responded, also out of breath.

    Since I was out of breath, I decided to sit in a chair. I still couldn't get that image of the kid out of my head. He has the most ugliest face, it haunts me.

    Dream woke up after a few minutes after she was cooled down, slightly feeling confused. Ren immediately opened up a water bottle and slightly lifted Dream's head, so she could get a drink of water.

    "I'm glad you're fine," Ren said in relief.

"Thank you for saving me," Dream said quietly looking around.

"That was nothing. We got your back," Ren and Vinny replied in unison.

    "What can we do to help her?" The students from the cooking class asked.

    "Nothing yet. When we need help, we'll tell you guys," I said to the students. The students nodded and went to go sit down in their chairs. I stood up and walked to Dream.

    "You okay?" I whispered. Dream looked at me in surprise.

    "Yeah I'm fine. Except that scary ass boy in the hallway who made me faint," Dream chuckled.

    I'll admit. It was scary. Everyone dying one by one. Dream who fainted and could've died if Vinny and Ren didn't go save her. People's bodies disappear once they're alone. I don't even know if we can survive in this high school. Everyone's phone has died. The lights are out and all we have are flashlights.

    We sat there in silence wondering if that freak is back. I sat there and watched if Dream was okay.

"Yo, it's been almost an hour, but why isn't that bitch gone?" Vinny asked.

"I don't know, you tell me," Elly said.

Vinny suddenly stood up and walked to the door. "What are you doing?" I asked worriedly.

"You guys stay here, I'm going to take a peek outside the door." Vinny said.

"Be careful, dude," Elly said. "Don't die. Especially in front of us."

"Watch out," Dream said as she stood up having someone assist her.

"Yeah, don't die," Natalie from our group said.
