So this is chapter two of my Bughead fanfic. Last chapter was basically a written version of the scene where J and B kissed so this chapter isn't anything from the show, enjoy
--Jughead's POV--
Tomorrow was the night of another drive in, I was thinking of asking Betty to go with me, I don't know if she'd say yes or not. I honestly don't know where we are or what we are, last time I saw her was two days ago, on Friday we had our first kiss and stayed up all night talking. Just talking, it wasn't really about anything specific just about our lives and how shitty they are.
--Time skip to tomorrow (Monday)--
I walked out of math class, I saw Betty at her locker and walked up to her.
"Hey Betts", her face went slightly pink.
"Hey Juggie" I smile,
"So um I was wondering if you'd like to go to the um, the drive in with me tonight". Her face lit up and she tried to hide her smile, I couldn't help but smile at that. "Of course I'd love to go with you" that made me smile even more but I tried to hide it. The bell rang, "ok I'll see you there" I kissed her cheek and walked off to history.
--time skip--
--Betty's POV--
When I got home I practically ran up the steps, I needed to get ready for well I wasn't really sure what to call it a date? a gathering?
I was hoping Jughead and I could go further than just friends, at this point we probably were more then just friends because we kissed two days ago in this very room.
I looked at the clock 7:04, the movie starts at 7:30 I might as well just go ahead and go there I thought. I walked down stairs
"hey mom I'm going to the drive in with Jughead"
"Umm I don't think so young lady"
"Why not"
"Because I said so now go back to your room".
I wiped a tear from my eye, as I shut the door to my room. I pulled out my phone and texted Jughead, 'hey Juggie my overprotective mother won't let me go to the drive in tonight, I'm sorry'.
I hit send, a few minutes later he replied, 'hold on'. I didn't really know what he meant by hold on, but five minutes later I herd a knock on my window.
