I clenched my fists tightly and put my guard on full alert. I vanished, leaving no trace that we were ever there. I appeared on the roof as the sun began to be covered with clouds. Saizo is able to give us the cover of darkness when needed but, it only lasts for so long. The wind began to pick up and people began to scurry around bringing the clothes and bed sheets inside. Lord Shinji and his men walked quickly to the meeting room, but before Lord Shinji entered with the others, he stopped and looked back at the spot I stood. I vanished and appeared in the attic above their meeting room, where Saizo waited for me.
"We have a fair enough of time before the shadow's wear off." He said, lifting his mask and grabbing my wrist.
"What? What're yo--!" He removed my mask with one swift move and pressed his lips to mine. My body shivered as his tongue entered my mouth, which nearly made me melt until he pulled away and I nearly groaned in disapproval, which made him chuckle. I blushed. "We—we are in the middle of a mission!" I hissed, recomposing myself.
"I needed to know you forgave me before we continued."
I looked away as it got darker outside. "I didn't know you could manipulate it for a longer period of time. We should hurry."
"You aren't the only one who trains." He paused. "Of course, Risa." My name rolled off his tongue as if he was tasting it. I looked at him, and through his mask, I seen lust in his eyes. "Once we're done with this, we better hurry back."
I nodded as we waited for the opportunity to strike.
Once their meeting was over, Lord Shinji left to his room, while the other's stayed in the meeting room.
"I'll go to Lord Shinji's room." I whispered.
Saizo shook his head. "Wait."
"We may not get another opportunity like this!"
"I'm not letting you go by yourself." He growled.
"Fine."
The flames in the meeting room flickered as they talked amongst themselves.
"What was that?" One of them jumped.
I vanished and appeared in the middle of all of them. I pressed my palm on the ground and barricaded the room so no one could hear their screams. The flames blew out as they yelled for help.
"Y-you!" one of them grabbed a small sword that he hid in his sleeve, while I slowly stood and took the blade that was known throughout the land. "I-it can't be..." all of their faces went pale as Saizo appeared beside me.
We took one step forward as they yelled. "No...no! No!" One by one, they fell. Their blood covering the walls and floors.
"Hurry!" We vanished as I sensed that Lord Shinji was preparing to enter his room.
The lightening echoed throughout the sky as I appeared at a corner of Lord Shinji's room. The door slid open and he set his things down before turning on a candle and turning to find me, leaning against his bedpost. He stood up straight as his eyes fell on me.
"Who are you?" He murmured. His eyes trailed up and down my body, examining me.
"You've drawn so much attention to yourself." I said, twirling a blade in my hand.
"If a lord asks you a question, you answer it. Now...who are you?!" he yelled as Saizo appeared on a table behind Lord Shinji, crouching.
"You are not our lord." Saizo's voice was as cold as death.
Lord Shinji flinched as he glanced back at Saizo, which gave me an opportunity to move closer to him, then back at me. "I presume you two are the assassins' that everyone fears." He chuckled as his fists clenched tightly. "I see that you have gotten the intel you needed...Sia."
