Deep Waters

The day ends here,

As the sun sets

On the shimmery sea.

A sight to behold

Was what I could see.

The golden rays,

Beckoned me,

To follow it's path,

Into the wide blue sea.

And before I knew,

Into the frozen water

I was, thrashing my limbs,

Asking for a way

To get back.

But down I sunk,

Into the murky depths.

My muffled voice,

Went unheard,

And sounds

Of the world got shut out.

And then I knew

The sun had set

Right upon me.

Here I lay underwater,

As an example,

For those who may

Follow the sun that sets.
