-----
I open my eyes, expecting lying on my bed but instead standing in the middle of an ancient city. All around me are box shaped houses made from... mud?
People with strange clothes are running from my direction. The Earth beneath me shaken but I am not affected by it. Curious and sure that I am dreaming, I ran towards the source of the quake like sensation. Faraway, two silhouette figures are arm-to-arm struggling to bring one to the ground. One of them has long flowing hair.
Still continuing to run towards them. One of them is Enkidu, sweating and having a hard time struggling to avoid being thrown. Archer, wearing only a skirt like clothes, is the one Enkidu fighting. For a woman, she is equally strong as my Servant.
I don't hear their conversation but they are the cause of all the ruckus. The threshold of a house is broken in shards and its pieces are scattered everywhere. The moon is already at the high peak. They are fighting for a long time, obviously because of their labored breath and sweat. Enkidu let out an annoyed cry and suddenly ripped open her long flowing tunic.
Wait... Did I always acknowledge her as a female? Her upper body... I need to rethink how I guess on a person's sex.
What is supposed to be a woman's chest is a male's. Muscular and all that six packs, Enkidu clearly is a he. Maybe his face or that flowing hair made me think he is a woman. Thinking about this, I made a mistake in talking about my previews dream with Archer. Speaking of that, I remembered that he forbids me to dream again of his past. Oh boy, he will be disappointed.
After almost an eternity, the victor finally is known. Archer brought down Enkidu to the ground. The man submerged in defeat as the king tries to twist his arm. Enkidu stood to his feet and look closely to the winner of their long battle.
After exchanging a silent conversation, the two embraced and became fast friends. Leaving me and the rubble of the threshold of a door, their story has just began.
-----I woke up from this dream. The first thing I saw is a figure of a man staring at me across my bed. Sitting on my bean chair and wearing his golden armor, he is no other than Gilgamesh, the king of heroes, my Servant Archer.
"I see, you dreamt of my memories again" Instead of frowning to my 'mistake', a smirk is plastered over his lips. "If this dream is one of the king's plunders of first life, do tell me and I expected a considerable reaction from the dreamer"
I retell my dream to him, deducting the time Enkidu ripped his clothes. Archer nod while I talk, sometimes closing his eyes.
"Why are you fighting him?" I asked. "I mean, don't tell me you are the bad guy in the past"
"Amusing, as a commoner, you have no rights to acknowledge your king of his alignment, what is right and wrong is for me to judge. As simple as letting a mongrel live or die" Adding a smirk, Archer stood from the bean bag and look from my window. It was funny to see a king sitting on a royalty bean bag and looking fabulous at the same time. Except for Archer, he did it right.
"It is decided, I shall close this grubbing about this mongrel's name Enkidu" His lips quivered, having a hard time saying the words mongrel and his name in the same sentence. Something tells me that he got a glimpse of his past. Maybe Enkidu is the most important piece to the jigsaw puzzle. "Attend to me after you finished preparing, do not test my patience"
Vanishing in golden dust from feet to head, Archer disappeared. I gaze at my messy room and remembered that I have school today. The day in the kiosk yesterday is still fresh from my memory. After I woke up, my brother picked me up and to my relief, Archer is in his spirit form that time.
