SoulMate AU
You had always been the artistic type. You doodled on whatever was around you. Paper, the blackboard, your sketchbook... And your arms. Since no one ever told you to stop, you figured it was okay and kept doing it. Once in awhile something was on your skin that you didn't remember drawing, but that was okay with you. After all, there wasn't any way for it to be made by someone else.
That all changes when one day you wake up after a short nap to find that someone else had written on your arm. The only problem was that no one had been around to make it. It bothers you all day until you finally get the courage to write back.
"Who is this?" you ask through the ink.
A few minutes go by and you start to give up. Maybe it had been one of your siblings, making the words as a prank. So you just left it as it was and went about the rest of your night.
Before you got into the bath, you notice there was a reply.
"I'm a student at Karasuno. Would you mind not drawing as often? It gets distracting during games."
Taking a pen from the container next to the sink, you write your reply.
"Really? I didn't know this showed up on someone else's skin. Let me know when your next game is so I can stop drawing than and wish you luck."
You wrap your arm in gauze and the sink into the water. You watch as the bubbles float up to the surface and pop.
"My next match is at Nekoma tomorrow. Will you be there?"
You smile and quickly write back.
"I always love watching people play sports. I hope to see you then."
By the time you had gotten out of the bath, the water was cold. You felt the need to check your email. Your friend, Lev, always liked to send you the next game time so that you could watch the team. It didn't matter whether or not he sent it though. It was always given through announcements.
You couldn't sleep at all. Your nerves were in hyper drive. Your heart running a million miles an hour. Anticipation was all you had but it still kept you up late. You were going to finally meet someone that might have been your soulmate. It was the most exciting thing ever.
When the time for the game finally rolled around you were getting bored. Class was just getting in the way of the highlight of the day.
When the last bell rang you jumped out of your seat and scrambled through the crowds to the gym. You sat impatiently on the bleachers and tapped your foot. As the Nekoma players walked in you gave a smile and continued to be impatient.
"What's got you in a hurry, (Your Name)? Got a hot date after the game?" Kuroo teased.
You blushed and shook your head. "Not quite. I'm going to meet someone who is on the other team."
Frowning, the tall male scratched his neck. "So now you're rooting for the other team? How cruel can you be? Kenma... Get a load of this," he ran off in confusion to tell his best friend all of this.
You smiled a little and nervously ran your finger over the ink on your arm. The person had never mentioned a name but you had a plan. A silly plan, but it was still a plan.
When the other team had filed in, you felt your pulse race. You really wanted your team to win, but you still didn't want to take sides yet. So of course you were going to play it safe and hope that each team did well.

When the third match was over, you were scribbling your name on your arm and hoping that it was dark enough for you to see it on the outside of the group. You didn't notice the fact that Kuroo was fooling off or the fact that people were yelling about watching out.
