Natsu x Reader: Long Lost Love(Fairy Tail)

Standing in front of your former guild, you held your breath. It had been a while since you had seen the place but you didn't have much hope.

Years ago you had followed your parents during their quest and had gotten captured. You spent years refusing to join a dark guild until someone finally defeat them. You used rumors and news to find your way back to the guild and here you were.

"Better now than never," you muttered to yourself before pushing the door open.

A few people looked at you and your nerves jumped. You walked as quick as you could to the bar counter and sat down next to a blonde.

"Hey there! I'm Lucy. I'm guessing you're here to become a member?" she introduced. "Mira can help you with that."

You rubbed your shoulder and shook your head. "Actually I'm already a member of Fairy Tail. I just need to get a new mark."

Lucy seemed taken aback and waved over what looked like Mira. You awkwardly looked at her guild mark and wondered where some of the others were at.

"How may I help you?" the kind-looking version of Mira asked.

Nodding, you replied with, "Yeah. I need a new guild mark. I'm (Your Name) (Last Name). I don't think you'll remember me but you are Mira right?"

For a second Mira looked confused but then soon smiled.

"(Your Name)! We thought that you were dead! We even held a funeral. Everyone will be so happy to see you again," she exclaimed while coming around to give you a hug.

At that moment, the door burst open and their stood a group of Fairy Tail's best. You recognized some of them like Gray and Erza but there were a few new faces.

"Hey Natsu I didn't expect you to get back so soon!" the one with black hair and piercing exclaimed.

Natsu just smiled and tried to act like he heard nothing. It was clear that he thought this new guy was implying something but he just couldn't figure it out.

Mira smiled and waved at them. "Hey guys! Guess who finally got back? (Your Name)!"

The members who remembered you smiled and a few shouted but for the most part a lot of people looked confused.

"(Your Name) as in (Last Name) (Your Name)? The one who went missing and was presumed dead?" Gray asked.

Sitting at the bar counter, you kept fidgeting. It was super embarrassing that a lot of people thought you were dead. The nervousness you had kept rising until you stepped off the stool only to faint.

"I think she'll be okay. There was a lot of stress on her body so it was most likely nothing more. A couple days of rest and light activity will bring about a full recovery," you heard a young voice say.

You opened your eyes to see the new girl with blue pigtails sitting next to the bed you were in. A handful of people were in the room but other than that it was mostly empty.

Sitting up slowly, you rubbed your head and realised that a lot of your wounds were gone. The only thing you had was a raging headache but it wasn't anything a nap wouldn't solve.

The girl made sure to watch you carefully and you gave her a weak smile. You weren't really feeling up to being social.

"(Your Name) what happened? We could only find your parents bodies," Natsu asked.

You frowned and looked at the corner. Talking about it wasn't something you wanted to do. After all it had been years but with everything that had happened, you still felt as if had happened an hour ago.
