Glaring at your friend, lean back in your chair. The blonde haired male furrows his odd brows in frustration as you finish your story.

"So then I told him to leave me alone or I wouldn't buy him anymore McDonald's. He had asked me out and I told him to buzz off. Those aren't my feelings. I bet he thinks I hate him. What do I do Arthur?!" you wail.

Arthur's eyebrows manage to get closer together as he yells, "Well, for starters don't get love advice from me you bloody idiot! Go ask Elizaveta for help!"

You look at him with distaste. "Well, currently she is helping Roderich buy a new piano. He broke the old one. Isn't that the second one this month?"

"Yes... Yes, it is. The keys of frustration!"

You giggle, "The cords of anger!"

From under the table you hear a thud, then a, "The notes of irritation." The a black haired male appears.

You jump up and grin while the expressionless boy stands up. You let out a little squeal and pump your fists up and down.

"OH! I love it when you say your r's. Just say anything with plenty of r's Kiku!" you exclaim like a child.

"How about no. I thought you said you had a rove probrem."

"Well... Yes I do... But how will you be able to do that? Hungary has the best advice." After all this time you don't think anyone could help you.

There was the most recent episode with him. You had dropped your stack of papers all over the hallway. He had come out and helped you, without a shirt you might add. Of course you weren't expecting that, but then again... You never expect anything when it comes to Alfred.

According to Arthur, Alfred was his little brother. At least by age. Alfred was already taller than the Brit. and Alfred would always dig it in.

"How about you terr him he is your senpai? Throw bread at him? I'm not sure,"Kiku says.

You lay your head on the table and groan. None of this was going to help, let alone work. Actually throwing bread at Alfred seems more like a joke or something rude than an idea to tell him that you love.

Staring out the window and into the McDonald's across the street, you find out, in horror, that Alfred and his friend Matthew are getting a snack. Well... You look closely and realize that Alfred is doing the eating while Matthew sits across from him looking annoyed.

You duck below the window and cover your mouth with one hand. With the other hand, you drag Kiku onto the seat next to you.

"Pretend that you two are having a normal conversation," you hiss at your friends.

"Why (Y/N)? Is something the matter? Does Matthew bother you?" Kiku asks.

You shake your head as Arthur leans on the table his head on his laced fingers. Sighing the Brit. looks at you in disappointment. Your skin crawls as you look away in shame. Suddenly you sneeze.

"(Y/N) someone must be tarking about you. Maybe is is Arfred?" Kiku asks.

You groan, "Oh, I hope not. That would be embarrassing. Hey Brit, let me know if they see you guys. Please?"

Despite his firm no, Arthur nods. You give him your biggest smile and relax a bit. Zoning out of Arthur's and Kiku's conversation about politics, you start to think about Alfred. His blue eyes that seemed to shine with justice whenever he talked about being a hero...

"Psst... They appear to have noticed us. Alfred looks pretty excited. Wait. They're throwing away their trash. Now they're leaving the fast food place. What are you going to do (Y/N)?" Arthur asks.

"Kiku move over. I already have a plan," you say, while sliding under the table.

You slide under the table and scramble onto the seat. Sliding Arthur's untouched meal towards you, you swap Kiku's drink with yours and let out a breath just as Alfred and Matthew spot where you guys are sitting.

"Hey there (Y/N)! I didn't notice your car. How did you get here?" Alfred smiles.

You frown and stand. "I took my mom's bike. At least I exercise, unlike someone I know. Or do you? All I ever do is see you..."

"Come on, (Y/N)! I have something to show you. There is a chance we won't be back. Sorry Arthur, Arfred," Kiku interrupts while standing.

As the two of you walk down the street you feel shame crawling down your back. You were about to be the rudest you had ever been to him. All because you didn't know how to tell your feelings.

"Thanks Kiku... I'm just a failure. I'll never be able to tell Alfred my true feelings. He'll have to go along thinking that I hate him. Sorry for the trouble," you say glumly.

It isn't long before you hear footsteps pounding to catch up to you. You turn your head slightly and see Alfred running after you.

"(Y/N) wait up! I have to tell you something!" he yells.

Your face pales and you glance at Kiku. The Japanese man has suddenly disappeared and Alfred slows to a stop next to you. You scowl and glare at the spot where your friend was.

"(Y/N)! I was wondering if you would see a movie with me! You know, just as friends though. Since you hate me. Totally not a date. I mean I only like you as a friend since I know my feelings would never be returned anyway..." he rambles.

You cover his mouth with your hand and take a deep breath. Standing up straight, you look him in the eye.

"Sure. I'm not really doing anything else... I don't see the harm in it," you mumble.

His eyes light up and you look away flustered. A hand pushes you from the back and you stumble, pushing Alfred into the wall.

Now in an awkward position, you sigh. You had one hand by Alfred's waist and the other by his head, pinning him to the wall.

"Uh... Well... This isn't so bad once you think about. I mean I don't mind it. (Y-Y/N)... I understand how you feel but... I, well, I don't want to be just your friend," Alfred smiles nervously. "I guess you could call this my desperate escape from the friend zone."

You blush and look into his eyes.

"Alfred... I-I just wanted to let you know that you aren't in the friend zone. It's been awhile since you were. I... I do share your feelings," you mumble.

You push yourself off the wall and shrug. Shaking your head, you turn around and walk away. You really didn't feel up to explaining things at the moment.

The rain starts pouring as you walk to the nearest bus stop. Feet splash in puddles quickly to escape the rain. You lean against glass and watch as the raindrops slide down. Suddenly you feel warmth envelope you.

Looking up, you see a smiling Alfred. His coat rests across your shoulders and you smile softly.

"Well then I guess what you said earlier was not your feelings?" he asks in your ear.

"Yeah. Not my feelings..." you sigh.

F**K! That is not how I wanted it to end. The ending isn't bad but... It ended a bit sadder than planned. I got sad and then I decided I wanted to finish this then... S**t happened. Oh well... Please ignore my language. Sorry about it.

I kinda like it though. Enjoy it, please.
