"Little girl,..."

"Hmm,..."

"Wake up."

"Uhh?"

"I said, wake up."

"Get out,..."

"No."

"Uhh, can't you see I'm still sleeping?"

"Yes."

"Get out, please,..."

"No."

"Please, two more hours,..."

"Okay, then. Go back to sleep, little girl. I'll be very gentle, I promise,..."

Petra's eyes snapped open, but instead of seeing the cream - colored ceiling, she saw a raven - haired man on top of her.

Huh?

W-what?

A-a-a-h-h-h,...

!

"Get off!" she shrieked on impulse, pushing Levi off her bed. He was definitely surprised at her display of strength. Guess you can't really make fun of half - asleep people. Especially women,...

Petra's senses came back to her a few seconds later when she finally noticed that Levi was rubbing his backside after his fall.

"Oh, my gosh. I'm so so sorry,..."

"It's nothing,..." he stood and went back to her bed like nothing happened. "Anyway, I thought you have rehearsals this morning. It's already eleven o'clock."

"What? Are you serious?" she grabbed her phone from the bed side table to see the exact time and gasped. "Oh, no! I'm very late."

Levi raised an eyebrow. "I've been trying to wake you up for the last three hours. Don't blame me."

Instead of quickly getting up, Petra remained on her bed, groaning. She took her pillow and covered her face with it. "I hate getting up early."

"So, you'll ditch the rehearsals?"

"I don't know,..."

"Want to go back to sleep?"

"Yes,..."

"Then, I'll just eat the beef stew I made for you." he stood up and turned to leave. "Tch. And I even got up early to do some grocery shopping. What a waste,..."

Petra threw her pillow. "Wait, I'll eat it!" she got out of her covers and stood up eagerly.

Levi ended up staying the night at Petra's place after what happened. Well, of course, nothing happened. Petra smiled as she recalled how Levi offered to sleep on the couch. He even made her breakfast. He's such a gentleman.

On the other hand, it took all of Levi's strength to stop himself from going to Petra's room and spending the rest of the night with her. It's so hard, but then he reminded himself that a girl such as Petra should be treated with great respect. It would be so wrong to take advantage of her weakness to have her sleep with him. No. He'll just wait for the right moment to do so. Maybe, he'll make her love him even more. Who knows?

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she muttered, unable to concentrate on her stew with him staring at her like she's some kind of prey or whatever.

"Nothing."

It turned out that the rehearsals for the memorial of the dead Prima was cancelled because of what happened to Marsha Bodt. So, Petra decided to visit her friend at the hospital, instead. Of course, Levi went along. They found the freckled ballerina there, half - swatted with bandages. She was with two of her friends whom Petra introduced as Jean Kirschtein and Connie Springer. Levi noted that the two of them haven't changed a bit since he last saw the two of them, which was about two thousand years ago. Jean still had his long horse - like face and sharp eyes and Connie's still, well, Connie. Only that they also couldn't remember anything from their past, much to Levi's disappointment.
