The sky was getting darker by the second. Levi's phone lay forgotten on the floor, it's screen displaying multiple missed calls and messages from his friends and colleagues. He was standing in the middle of his dirty room, looking at the guitar on his bed.

A guitar,...

...that once belonged to his uncle Kenny.

Levi didn't go back to his house that day. He instead went to his mother's house. He wanted to rest and shut himself for a long time there. The University can fire him for not reporting to duty. He didn't really care anymore.

He drove there for an hour, his windshield battling the angst of the pouring rain. He stopped at the white gates, stormed out of his car, and went straight to the patio.

He almost didn't notice that his uncle was right there sitting on a bench, his eyes staring dreamily at the distance, his fingers skillfully plucking the strings of an old classical guitar. Kenny may be bad on the piano, but he certainly isn't a pushover when it comes to the guitar. He was playing the first few chords of his favorite Beatles song.

"What are you doing here, old man? You'll catch a cold - "

But, Kenny didn't listen to him and started singing.

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.

Now it looks as though they're here to stay.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be.

There's a shadow hanging over me.

Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to go, I don't know, she wouldn't say.

I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why she had to go, I don't know, she wouldn't say.

I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.
