******KYLE'S P.O.V.******
After about twenty minutes in the office, I got all my transcripts and made my way to my first-period class. Well after Tiffany gave me a welcome back kiss in one of my old meeting places. Mr. Keanu's broom closet that he never uses. Or as others call it.... the janitor's closet.
It was my old hookup spot that I used when I didn't want anyone seeing me. With the number of times I had used it at the beginning of grade ten, you would think I would have been caught by now. After that little relapse, I left the broom closet and told her to wait in there for a few seconds before coming out.
I texted Cole asking him to forward me his schedule and to meet me in the cafeteria for lunch. I needed to be debriefed on everything I had missed. I was back now and I was going to pick up exactly where I left off.
I took me about four minutes to get to the cafeteria and find Cole sitting at a table with...
Andrew? Cole sat down comfortable sipping away at his coffee. While Andrew just sat there happily. Too happily I would say by the way he was smiling. He was definitely up to no good.
"What's up? What's with the creepy smile?" I asked them as I sat down at the table.
"What creepy smile?" Andrew said and I laughed.
"Your's buddy," I said and Cole laughed a little but tried to cover it up.
"My smile is not creepy!" Andrew said but Cole shook his head.
"I'm sure you could scare any of our teachers into never giving you homework with that smile," Cole said and I agreed. He had the smile of a deranged sociopath killer, on his face!
"Wait you think that would work!" Andrew said completely serious.
"If it does make sure you tell all my teachers I don't want homework as well!" I said and Cole rolled his eye's.
"Oh come on man, you could easily hire someone to do your work for you without even blinking," Andrew said and Cole sighed.
"See I said the same thing, but he insisted on actually doing all his work himself. I don't know what his deal is but it's weird." Cole said then took another long sip of his french vanilla.
"It's not weird, I just want to earn the mark I get. I don't want to do amazingly and not have actually done any of the work. Just doesn't feel right." I said and Andrew just shook his head.
"How could an A not feel good?" Andrew said and I just shrugged.
"Yeah seriously! Whatever... I don't know man, you're delusional!" Cole said as he sighed and took a bite out of the pizza he chose to get from the cafeteria.
"So... um who is that?" I said as I looked across the cafeteria to that girl I saw earlier.
"Oh who the new girl? Cole asked.
"Yeah," I said and he shook his head.
"No clue but she's hot!" Cole said and Andrew glared at him. I gave Andrew a confused look.
What was that about?
"Um, that's Alexis," Andrew said looking at his food.
So that's her name! I said in my head as I looked at the girl. She was too busy chatting with Taylor and Breanna to notice my staring.
"Yeah, Alexis Carder," Andrew said and I looked at him shocked.
"You ok mate?" Cole asked me and I nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Um, what's the plan for this weekend again?" I asked Andrew.
"Oh yeah..." Andrew filed us in about some event and I just toned out thinking about how long it's been since I've been back at this school.
"So what do you have next?" Cole asked as he looked at Andrew's schedule.
"Just Drama and gym, or well weight fit." I handed Cole my schedule.
"Cool, I have weight fit with you and Andrew," Cole said as he took a photo of my schedule on his phone.
"Sick, Jordan and Mike are in that class too so this will be fun."
"Ah, the famous posh brit friends of yours!" Andrew said and Cole laughed.
"Yeah, they're pretty fun. Jordan's a lot like you." I said to Cole and he smiled.
"Oh but he's not as good looking so I don't care," Cole said and Andrew laughed.
"Yeah right!" Andrew said and stole one of Cole's fries.
"What I'm good looking!" Cole said angrily to Andrew.
"Sure you are buddy." Andrew said crewing on his fries.
"Oh come on, Kyle you tell him," Cole said dragging me into this.
"Oh hell no. Don't bring me into you love fest!" I said and gave them a creeped out face.
