~~~~~~KYLE'S P.O.V.~~~~~~
I strolled into gym class right after talking to Alexis with a smile on my face. I guess this is something I normally don't do because the second the guys saw me they started to chirp at me.
"Well well well, look who finally showed up!" Cole joked as he saw me enter the workout room. The room was filled with workout equipment and weights. The walls were mostly white however there was one red wall that had our school mascot on it.
"Your late man!" Mike chimed in as he shook his head at me.
"That's because he was talking to that hottie." Jordan laughed.
"Wait, what!" Cole said as he dropped the barbell he was lifting and sat up.
"Oh, you mean that Alexis chick!" Mike asked as he stopped the treadmill.
"Yeah, that one! Those two were chatting away all of class, it was quite nauseating really." Jordan answered as he got onto the elliptical.
"You two have class together?" Andrew asked curiously as he leaned up against the wall where I was lifting barbells with Cole.
"Yeah, we have drama class together," I said lifting the bell all the way to start my reps.
"You should have seen it. Kyle busted out some romantic moves and was slow dancing with Alexis. Hey, maybe you can get on dancing with the stars." Jordan teased and laughed.
"Wow hold up, you can dance?" Cole said looking at me in shock and he wasn't the only one.
"Dude, right on!"Mike beamed.
"What do you mean slow dancing with Alexis, Why were you slow dancing with Alexis?" Andrew asked sounding rather worried. I wasn't too sure what had gotten into him. He stood there his gaze focused on me attentively but his face was filled with this indescribable uneasiness.
I hesitated, "It's for a play." I told him finally and gave him a questioning look. He was acting rather strange.
"Oh," Andrew said and scratched the back of his neck.
I was going to ask him what was up with him and if he was cool, but Jordan jumped in shooting me another question.
"Yeah, so did you hit her up for her number?" He said with a chuckle.
"What no! Definitely not." I sputtered even though I had wanted to, just was a little strung up about the immediate rejection I'd gotten from her. I mean there wasn't even a maybe to tomorrow or anything. It was like Alexis genuinely liked being coy with me. I had never had a girl turn me down and act the way she did towards me.
"Why not! She's hot!"
"Yeah see Jordan's right, the girls one nice pice or ass!" Cole smiled with a sly smirk.
"You guy's are unbelievable!" I rolled my eyes.
"Hey what did I say?" Mike said clueless as ever.
"Nothing just forget him," Jordan said and I managed to get our workouts done in peace.
The class went by fast, Mike tried to show off and brag about how much he could lift but failed big time. Cole and I talked about some of the old gossips and how the touring had been well we did some reps. Jordan just listened to music with his headphones but took them out to bug Mike. Jordan was like the dad in the group.
We finished class and headed to the locker room. I quickly remove my shirt and changed as the other boys did the same.
"Oh hey, Andrew I almost forgot. What time should I bring the keg to James tonight?" Cole asked as he looked at Andrew.
"Keg?" I questioned and the boys turned.
"What you need a keg for?" Jordan asked rather puzzled staring at Andrew.
"Oh, right sorry I totally forgot my mate James is having a get-together tonight... did you guys..."
"What time?" I broke in turning to look at him and he shuddered.
"Um well I told everyone to be there at nine thirty so they're all probably coming by nine forty-five," He said nervously.
"Cool well be there. Oh, and Cole, meet me in the parking lot after class and I'll help you with the kegs." I said before slamming the blue metal locker shut and darting out of the locker room.
A party was the perfect way to figure out what I missed and get back the reigns. This was my school and it was time I took it back.
