Type: Love (Gladion x Reader)

Vast Poni canyon

--Your POV--

The boat arrived at the docks, and I saw Gladion pacing back and forth, his hand in front his face.  When he saw me and Lillie get off the boat, his eyes lit up, and he ran to me.  "Thank Arceus you two are ok!"  He hugged me, and kissed my head.  I heard Lillie giggle.  I turned around "What are you laughing at?!"  I said, my face turning red.  "Oh, nothing..."  She smiled deviously.  I rolled my eyes.  "Hey Gladion, where's Hau?"  I said, looking around.  I spotted Hau, walking out of the Pokecenter.  When he saw us, he waved and ran over, and he hugged Lillie.

Gladion stared daggers into Hau, and he let go of her.  "ANYways, we should go to the altar now, right?"  I said, as we started walking to the island.  "Yeah!  We have to pass through Vast Poni Canyon, and there's alot of trainers there... and Pokemon!"  "Yay!  Maybe I can catch new Pokemon!"  I said, grabbing Gladion's hand.  "Come on!"  I ran to the island, and Lillie and Hau followed.

--Time skip--

We made it to Vast Ponni Canyon, and all there is a dead tree.  "Well, this place seems pleasant..."  Lillie said, looking around.  We saw Murkrow, and they were cawing.  Lillie seemed kinda scared, so I sent Sylveon out, just to keep guard, so no Pokemon would attack us.  We entered the cave, and there we Golbat and Zubat flying around, some Boldore, and a few Carbink.  

We were just walking, and all of a sudden, a wild Golbat swooped down, and cut my cheek, knocking me down, making me scrape my elbows.  "(Y/N)!"  I heard Gladion yell.  The Goldbat was circling me, but all of a sudden, it was struck down by a Pokemon.  "I got you."  Gladion pulled me up, and carried me like a princess, and I looked to see what Pokemon attacked the Golbat.  It was Silvally, and he was firing attacks at the Golbat, as Gladion carried me the rest of the way through the cave, and set me down outside of it.

Not too long after, Silvally came out, a little bit scratched up, but nothing too serious.  Gladion pulled some bandages, and wrapped one around my arm, and put a large band-aid on the other.  He also put a band-aid on my cheek.  I pulled out some potions, and sprayed them on Silvally's wounds.  He licked me while I was healing him.  After I was done, Gladion walked up to Silvally, and started petting him.  

"Why'd you heal him?"  He asked, Silvally licking his face.  "Well, he DID just save me from that Golbat, so I feel like I owe him..."  I said, getting up, wincing at the pain in my elbows.  Gladion picked me up princess style again, not that I was complaining.  

We stopped to rest not long after, next to some tall grass.  Hau pulled out some Malasadas, and handed each of us one.  I pulled out some Pokebeans, and called my team out.  "Come on out everyone!"  Sylveon, Decidueye, Arcanine, and Pikachu popped out.  I put down some bowls, and poured Pokebeans into them.  "Hey, do your guy's Pokemon want something to eat?"  I asked Gladion and Hau.  "Yeah!  But I have Malasadas for my guys!"  Hau said, pulling out MORE malasadas.

"Mine would like some."  Gladion said, calling his Pokemon out.  Golbat, Sneasel, and Silvally popped out.   When Golbat popped out, I screamed and hid behind Gladion.  Golbat landed in front of Gladion, looking confused.  I heard Gladion chuckle "Don't worry, this one won't hurt you."  He said, petting Golbat.  I poked my head out, and took a deep breath.  I went back to where my Pokemon were, and sat back down.  As we were eating, I heard a rustle in the grass next to me.

A head poked out, and it was a Midday Lycanroc!  I crouched, and held a hand out.  "Hey buddy, are you hungry?"  I handed it a Pokebean, and it happily munched away.  I smiled, and went back to where I was.  The Lycanroc followed, and sat next to me.  "Got a new friend?"  Gladion said, petting Lycanroc.  "Well, kinda, this pup popped out, and I fed it a Pokebean!"  Lycanroc made a happy barking noise, and licked me.  Lillie giggled "I think it likes you!"

Sylveon cautiously approached the newcomer, and sniffed it.  Silvally came over too, and started playing with them.  I watched them playing around, and giggled.  "Hey (Y/N) you should catch it!"  Hau said, taking a bite of malasada.  Lycanroc's ears perked up when it heard 'Catch'.  "O-ok..."  I said, pulling out a Pokeball, and Lycanroc walked up to me.  It booped the ball with it's nose.

One...

Two...

Three...

Click.

I jumped up, and held the Pokeball in the air.  "Yes!  I caught a Lycanroc!"  I hugged Gladion, and he kissed my head.

--Time skip--

We finally got out of Vast Poni Canyon, and we saw a LONG flight of stairs, leading up to the Altar of the Sunne.  "We're here."  Gladion said, putting his hands on his hips.
