Type: Love (Gladion x Reader)

Birthday Party

(The story has progressed 2 days, nothing really went down)

--Your POV--

I woke up in my bed, and I looked over to my side.  Gladion was sleeping peacefully, with just some pajama pants on. I looked to the other side, and looked at the clock.  8:13.  It took me a few seconds, but then I realized what today was.  I sprung up, waking Gladion.  I jumped on top of him, and I sat on his stomach.  "GLADION!"  "What?  I'm up, jeez."  "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!"  I hugged him, and fell to his side.  He sprung up, falling out of the bed.  I crawled over to the edge, and looked down, seeing Gladion on the floor, tangled in blankets.  I laughed, of course.  "Yeah yeah OK.  I have somewhere we need to go around 10, so start getting ready."  He said, getting up, throwing the blankets back on the bed.  "Where are we going?"  I asked as he threw a blanket on my face, and I stuck my tongue out at him.  "You'll see."  "Ooooo, I love mysteries!"  I said, getting up.  I walked over to my closet, and picked out the outfit I wore the first day I met Gladion.  "I'll be in the bathroom changing!"  I said, running in the bathroom.  I shut the door, and got ready. 

I walked back out, and I looked at the clock.  8:30.  We had plenty of time to kill.  "Hey, Gladion?" "Hm?"  "Let's go play with our Pokemon out back!"  I said, grabbing my Pokeballs and Gladion's hand.  "OK."  "Come on Ninetales!  You too Midnight!"  They both squealed happily, and followed me and Gladion out back.  I thew my Pokeballs in the air "Come on out everybody!  It's Play Time!"  Decidueye, Nebby, Null, Arcanine, Pikachu, and Sylveon popped out.  Midnight was happy to see Sylveon, and ran up to her.

Gladion called out his Pokemon.  Silvally, Weavile, Lucario, Crobat, and Porygon-Z.  All the Pokemon played happily with each other, as me and Gladion watched from the back deck.  "Hey Gladion, can I ask you something?"  "Of course."  "When did you first know that you wanted me to be yours?"  I laid my head down in his lap.  He began stroking my hair.  "From that first awkward moment when you fell on my chest after being attacked by Team Skull."  "Wow, really?" "Yeah, you were just too cute to leave alone.  I knew right then and there that I had to make you mine."  I chuckled.  "I'm glad you did!  If you hadn't come along, Sylveon wouldn't be here, which means Midnight wouldn't be here, and I wouldn't have Null!"  I snuggled my face into his jacket.  "Sylveon has you to thank for saving her life, Midnight for giving it life, and two of the Nulls, for giving them homes.  You're an amazing person Gladion."

Silence.  Did I say something wrong?  Suddenly, he pulled me up, and my lips met with his.  I wrapped my arms around his neck.  Once we broke the kiss, he pulled me in for a hug.  "Thank you, (Y/N)."  "Thank you for what?"  Gladion squeezed me tighter.  "For giving me a purpose."  I smiled, and let go of him.  "That's what I'm here for.  To love you, and love you forever."  I heard Pokemon cooing in the background.  I whipped my head around, and was surprised to see that ALL of the Pokemon were sitting and watching me and Gladion.  Gladion got up, and marched over to them.  He raised an eyebrow, and they all froze.  I started laughing, and Gladion smirked as he turned back to the Pokemon.  He called his Pokemon back, and I called mine back.  I looked at my phone, it said 10:00.  "Hey, Gladion, it's 10!"  "Great, come with me."  He grabbed my hand, and Ninetales and Midnight followed.   

Once we got out to a clearing, Gladion paged the Shiny Charizard, and we climbed on the back.  I stuffed Midnight into my bag, and Ninetales sat behind me, and wrapped his front paws around me.  We took off, and began flying over the open sea.  I pressed my face into Gladion's back, and hugged him tighter.  "(Y/N)? Are you OK?"  He said, sounding a little concerned.  "Y-Yeah... It's just-"  We dipped a little to get closer to the water, and I squeaked "Eeep!  I-It's just been a while since I've flown over the sea, at least this close..."  Gladion managed to strap himself to the seat, and he turned around.  "C' mere."  He pulled me closer, and I laid my head on his lap.  I relaxed, and snuggled close to my blonde boyfriend.
