Type: Love (Gladion x Reader)

Promise

--Your POV--

I grabbed the Pokeball and held it up into the air, jumping into the air.  "I DID IT!  I caught Solgaleo!"  Gladion grabbed me, and picked me up, twirling me in the air.  Lucario cheered, and jumped around.  Lillie squealed, and hugged me, and Hau did too.  I threw the Pokeball up in the air "Nebby!  Come on out!"  and Nebby popped out, letting out a roar.  I smiled and hugged the huge lion.  I pulled out my other Pokeballs, throwing them up in the air.  "Come on out everyone!  Meet the new family member!"  And Pikachu, Sylveon, Decidueye, Lycanroc, and Arcanine popped out, looking at Nebby.

But as soon as Lycanroc saw Gladion, it growled.  It lunged at him, while trying to use bite.  Pikachu used Thunderbolt, stopping Lycanroc in it's path, paralyzing it.  I walked up to it.  "LYCANROC!  What is wrong with you?!"  I said, standing in between it and Gladion.  I hadn't noticed, but Lucario had a bone rush ready, standing by Gladion.  "No need Lucario, (Y/N) can handle this."  He said, lowering Lucario's paw.  Lucario nodded.  

I inhaled.  "Lycanroc, why do you keep trying to hurt Gladion?"  I said, petting it.  Without warning, Lycanroc stood up, and licked my face.  "Lycanroc, not now."  I pushed it away.  "I asked you a question.  Why are you hurting Gladion?!"  I said, my voice raising a bit.  "Arf..."  It clearly knew it did something wrong, and it lowered it's head.  It walked up to Gladion, and sat in front of him.  "Warf...rof...wof..."  It said, and Lucario's eyes widened, and put away the Bone Rush.  Lycanroc held a paw out.  Lucario's paw met with it and they... shook paws?  Gladion walked over to me, and wrapped his arm around me.  Lycanroc walked away, and I called it back, while Gladion called Lucario back. 

"Do you know what that was all about?" I asked, leaning my head on Gladion's shoulder.  "No clue... but at least it's not trying to kill me anymore."  I chuckled.  "Ok, what do you say about going back to Aether?  We can crash there tonight."  Gladion said, kissing my head.  "Sounds great!"  I said, hugging him back.  "Can't, I have to train!  So I can get as strong as my gramps!"  Hau said, smiling.  "I think I'll go stay with professor Kukui.  I need to tell him about all this!"  Lillie said, running towards the stairs, following Hau.  "See you guys later!"  I said, waving, and Hau and Lillie left.

"So, we're alone now..." Gladion smirked.  I felt a blush creep up on my face.  I giggled as he kissed my cheek.  "Alright, you wanna go back to Aether?"  I said, summoning Nebby.  "Yeah, let's go."  Gladion pulled me up onto Nebby's back in front of him.  "Hey Nebby, can you take us to the village?"  I patted the Pokemon's side.  Nebby roared, and ran down the stairs.

--Time skip--

We finally made it to the Marina, and I called Nebby back, praising the Pokemon.  We hopped on the Aether boat, and headed to the bedroom.  I collapsed on the bed.  "Arceus, today was CRAZY!"  I said, stretching.  Gladion took his hoodie off, and hung it up on the coat tree.  Without warning, he jumped on the bed, pulling the covers over us, making a tent-like structure.  He pulled me in for a passionate kiss.

I love you Gladion...

--Time skip--

I awoke to the alarm going off.  I groaned and got up, pressing the off button.  I looked out the window, and saw Aether Paradise on the horizon.  We'd be there soon.  I poked Gladion's nose.  "C'mon sleeping beauty, time to wake up!"  I said, yanking the covers off him.  "Whyyyyy..."  He said groggily.  "Hey, we get to spend the WHOLE day together, I don't wanna miss a second!"  I said, hugging him as he sat up.  "Fine..."  He got up and walked into the bathroom, brushing his hair and teeth.

I felt the boat come to a stop, realizing that we were in Aether.  "Gladion, we're here!"  I said, knocking on the door.  "Coming!"  He said, walking out.  His hair looked silky, but he was wearing his normal clothes.

--We spent the whole day together!  Playing with Pokemon in the conservation area, playing with our own Pokemon, and other things!--

--Time skip--

"Hey cutie."  Gladion said, as he walked in on me, playing with a stuffed Silvally plush on his bed.  "Hey!  What's up?"  "I was just thinking, it'd be nice to camp out on the roof!"  Gladion said, holding up a sleeping bag.  I jumped up "That sounds like a great idea!  Come on!"  I said, grabbing his hand, running down the hall, to the elevator.  Gladion punched in some numbers, and we went up to the roof.  I wasn't expecting to see trees, and a GARDEN?  "Gladion!  You never told me about this!"  I said, awwing at the roof garden.  I looked over and saw a tent with cots in it.

Gladion put the sleeping bag in the tent, and joined me on the bench.  "Hey, um... (Y/N)?  C-can I ask you something?"  Gladion looked nervous.  "Of course!  What's up?"  I said, hugging him.  He reached in his pocket, and handed me a box.  I blushed, and opened it.  Inside there were two rings,  one was grayish, the other was a lighter shade.  "G-Gladion..." I started tearing up.  "I know we're not old enough to be married, but I hope that you'll accept this promise ring.  When we get old enough, I want to be the best husband I can be."  He said, holding my hand.  "I-I... YES!  A THOUSAND TIMES YES!"  I said, tackling him.  He smiled, and grabbed one of the rings and slipped it on my finger.

I slipped the other one on his finger, and pulled him in for a heated, passionate kiss.  "I hope you'll be mine forever..."  Gladion whispered in my ear.  I kissed his neck "Of course."
