Type: Love (Gladion x Reader)

Flying Midnight

--Your POV--

It's been about 9 months since the prank, and on the first day, Gladion used up his ENTIRE cuddles coupon.  But now, it's the day before my birthday, and Gladion's been out if the house ALL DAY.  Oh, and my mom moved to Kanto, leaving me and Gladion the house.  This is how the day and the next day played out.

I walked downstairs from taking a shower, and Gladion was still gone.  I turned to my newly evolved Silvally, and walked over to him, sitting down next to him on the couch "Silvally, have you seen Gladion today?"  Silvally shook his head, and I frowned.  Silvally noticed I was sad and put his head on my lap, and I began petting his head.  "Well, since Gladion's been gone, and it's only 8:00 PM, why don't we train?"  I got up, and Silvally barked happily, following me upstairs.  I walked up to Midnight's bed, and it was sleeping in it.  "Midnight, time to wake up!"  I poked it, and it growled, rolling over.  "Oh well, I was hoping that you'd train with me and Silvally, but nevermind..."  As soon as Midnight heard 'train', it lept up, and ran downstairs.  Me and Silvally followed, and walked outside and onto the beach, where me and Glaidon had worked hours and days to build a community battle field.  There were 3 battle areas, and some younger kids were using one, fighting with their Yungoos and Rattata.  I sent Midnight to one side of the field, and told it that it could use any move it wanted, without my command. 

Me and Silvally got on the other side, and the battle began.  Midnight fired off a Dark Pulse, and I smiled "Silvally, use Crush Claw!" Silvally ran at it, stopping it with his Crush Claw.  "Nice one guys!  Keep it up!"  They both smiled, and got ready for the next attack.  "Use Take Down!"  Silvally charged at Midnight, hitting it with full force, knocking it to the ground.  The thing is, Silvally received re-coil damage.  Midnight got up, and used Payback, hitting Silvally spot on.

By this time, we had attracted a crowd.  I looked around and smiled at all the happy face around us.  Without me knowing, Silvally was picked up in a light blue light.  I looked past my floating Silvally, and saw Midnight using Pyschic.  Silvally was slammed to the ground, but got up almost immediately.  "Silvally, use Air Slash!"  Silvally fired razors of wind at Midnight, causing dust to be drawn up into the air, creating a giant dust cloud.  Once the dust cleared, I saw Midnight, still standing.  "It held on!"  A small child yelled in surprise from the crowd.  Midnight used hidden power, and knocked Silvally to the ground.  "Silvally, can you still battle?"  He got up, and barked.  Everyone around us cheered, and Midnight smiled at Silvally.  I plugged the Normalium Z into my Z-Ring, and put my arms out in front of me, and made the motions.  Z power surrounded Silvally, and he let out an ear-splitting cry.  "Breakneck Blitz!"  Silvally charged at Midnight, and hit it, knocking him very high into the air.  

As Midnight fell closer to the ground, a flash of blue, black, and tan caught it.  It was a Lucario, but not just any Lucario... "That was one of the most powerful Breakneck Blitzes I've ever seen... stronger than mine even."  I whirled around, and saw my blonde boyfriend.  I ran to him, and hugged him  "Where have you been?"  "Getting your birthday present."  I smiled, and called Midnight and Silvally back into their Pokeballs, as Gladion called Lucario back.  We waved goodbye to the crowd as we walked back home.  "It's getting late, and you have a full day tomorrow.  We should get some sleep."  I nodded, and followed Gladion into the bedroom.  

We had made my old room into a room for the Pokemon.  I changed and climbed into bed with Gladion, and he wrapped his arm around me.  "Goodnight (Y/N)."  "Goodnight, my edgelord."  I kissed his head, and we peacefully fell asleep.
