Type: Love (Gladion x Reader)

Midnight

--Gladion's precious POV--

I saw (Y/N)'s eyes widened, and mine did too, when I saw that Sylveon had an egg.  "(Y/N)... that's an Eevee egg!"  I said, wrapping my arm around (Y/N).  I saw (Y/N) start to cry.  "(Y/N)?  What's wrong?"  I asked, wiping away her tears.  She chuckled, and I looked at her surprised.  "So, I guess you were a girl this whole time huh?"  She bent down and petted the Pokemon.  "Sylveon... of course I want you to come back with me and Gladion, but..."  (Y/N) started to cry again, and Sylveon looked worried.  "I-if you wanna stay here, that's fine.  That way you can raise your baby, and be safe."  She said, standing up, and smiling.  

"(Y-Y/N)... are you serious?  You're just gonna leave her here?  You two have been through so much!"  I said, planting myself in front of her.  "I'm only leaving her if she wants to stay.  She doesn't have to come though, really..."  (Y/N) said, tears starting to fall down her cheeks.  Just then, Sylveon wrapped her feelers around (Y/N)'s right arm.  (Y/N)'s eyes widened, and looked at Sylveon.  She was holding the egg in her other feelers.  She handed it to (Y/N), and smiled.  "Y-You want to keep traveling with me?"  (Y/N) asked, taking the egg into her arms.  "Sylvie!"  The Pokemon said, and started dragging me and (Y/N) out of the forest.  

--Your POV--

Before we left, I turned around and looked at the Eevees and the Eeveelutions that helped me.  "Thank you so much!  All of you!  I'll be sure to come back and visit!"  I said, and the Pokemon squealed in happiness.  I smiled and waved, and followed Sylveon and Gladion out of the woods. 

After we made I back to camp, I picked up Sylveon's opened Pokeball and smiled.  "You know, I'm glad that you came with us Sylveon.  I don't know what I'd do without you!"  I said, and hugged the Pokemon.  I held up her Pokeball.  "Do you wanna rest girl?"  Sylveon squealed in agreement, and I called her back.  "So, what are we gonna do about the egg?"  Gladion asked, putting his hands in his pockets.  I suddenly realized that I didn't have a plan.  "Uhm... I don't really know... I don't have an incubator or anything..."  I said, looking down at the egg.  "Here.  Give it to me."  Gladion said, holding his arms out.  "O-OK..."  I handed the egg to Gladion.

--Gladion's POV--

I grabbed the egg and put it on my pillow on the cot I had set up.  I wrapped it in blankets.  "You stay here with the egg, and I'll go get an Incubator."  (Y/N) nodded, and sat down next to the egg.  I hopped the fence, and walked down the path towards the egg room.  Once I got there, I punched in the special code to get in, and the door opened.  A wave of heat overcame me, because all the eggs inside the room were under heat lamps.  

I walked through the isles of eggs, and went into the back room, where all the incubators were.  I grabbed one and walked out.  I saw (Y/N), and she had fallen asleep, cuddling the egg.  I chuckled.  "Hey (Y/N), wake up.  I got an incubator."  I poked her cheek, and she woke up, her eyes slowly opening.  "Oh that's good!"  She said, sitting up and stretching her arms.  "Let's get this egg popped in!"  She said, and I put the incubator on the bed.

I picked up the egg, and put it in the incubator, and turned it on.  "Alright."  I clapped my hands together "I wanna take you somewhere."  I said, and smiled.  "Oh, OK, lemme just get the egg and my bag."  (Y/N) said, grabbing her bag and the egg.  "Great.  Let's go."  I picked her up bridal style, and she squealed.  She held the egg in her lap.

We boarded the boat to Melemele island, since it wasn't safe to fly with the egg.  I set (Y/N) down in the bedroom.  "The egg doesn't have to stay in the incubator, you can take it out."  I said as I kicked off my shoes and laid down on the bed and put my arms behind my head.  "Oh, OK."  (Y/N) took the egg out of the incubator, and made a pile of pillows, and set the egg down.  She laid down on the other side of the egg, and chuckled.  "What's up?"  I asked, rolling over to face her.  "Oh, nothing... I just can't believe that this egg happened!"  She said, and hugged the egg.  It shook, and she jumped back, falling off the bed.  

I crawled over to the other side of the bed, and looked over the edge, seeing (Y/N) sprawled on the ground.  "Ow... my arm..."  She winced, holding her bandaged arm.  I reached down and pulled her up.  "What just happened?"  I asked, as she stood up.  "T-The egg... shook..."  She fell on the bed.  "Oh!  Well that just means it's close to hatching!"  I said, rubbing her back.  

"Really?"  She said, sitting up.  "Yeah, that's also a sign that it's not a dud."  I said, rubbing the egg.  It shook some more.  "Wow, it must be really close!  We should stay up just in case."  I said, wrapping a blanket around (Y/N).  "OK..."  "Great.  What should we do when we're waiti-"  (Y/N) cut me off by pushing a finger up against my egg, shushing me.  I pulled her hand away.  "What was that for?!"  I said, louder.  "The egg!"  She whisper shouted.  I whipped around, and saw that the egg had started to glow.  I picked it up and set it in an open area on the bed.  

It glowed brighter, and a little Eevee emerged.  Not just a normal Eevee, a SHINY Eevee.  It stretched it's legs out and yawned.  It's eyes opened, and it made a happy sound when it saw me and (Y/N).  I walked over to (Y/N) and wrapped my arm around her.  Eevee yipped happily, and jumped into me and (Y/N)'s arms.  It rubbed it's head on me and (Y/N).  (Y/N) turned to me "What should we name it?"  She asked, petting the Eevee.  "Hmmm... well, we found it at night... so how about Midnight?"  I said, and the Eevee squealed in happiness.  "Alright!  Midnight it is!"  I said, hugging Eevee and Gladion.

(A/N)- Ohhhhhhh!  Eevee!  Anyways, next chapter is gonna be fun :D
