Legends of the Frost

Luna (123hi)

"I smell blood!" I called over to Storm. We were both still trying to search. Storm was carrying Twig on his back. I started digging fast and hard. I saw some of the snow glowing and then face out.

"Carthadin!" I yelped and started digging even faster. Suddenly my paws broke into a little hole containing a passes out Carthadin and Comet. I felt a new surge of strength come through my body as I grabbed Carthadin and pulled her out of the snow. After pulling her out I went back and pulled Comet out.

"Oh no!" I whispered as I saw Carthadin broke a wing and Comet bruised his head bad and it was bleeding. Storm applied pressure to Comet's wound to stop the bleeding while I went to try to find the other wolves. I heard scrabbling in one area and after a minute of me digging too, I found Misty and Flame together. Now we were just missing Rain and Wind.

"They were somewhere right behind us." Misty said in between shivers. Flame nodded his head. So then Leaf and I started digging and eventually I came across Rain.

"Wind, she's dead, her body faded. She's with the spirit wolves now." Rain whined. It almost seemed like Comet heard her even in his unconscious state, because suddenly he muttered "Wind!" Then his body seemed to grow lighter. Comet was dying.

"Noo!" I howled and Placed my paw on Comet's shoulder. "Please! Spirit dogs! Save him! You can't let our pack die out!" A gust of wind ruffled my fur and I saw Comet open his eyes. He was still fading though. His eyes were glazed white.

"Luna." He whispered. "Wind is here, she says to tell you all 'hi'." Then he completely faded. Our pack is down to seven. All of us started howling for our lost pack mates. After the song ended I turned back to Carthadin.

"We can't lose more lives!" I barked. "Everyone stick together at all times! If you have any wounds, tell me immediately! We must move to safer ground! Misty, if you need to rest, tell me immediately! Before we get a move on, we must help Carthadin!" The pack immediately obeyed my orders. Everyone stood in a little huddle and Storm and I started checking out Carthadin to see what we could do to help.
