I scribbled on my paper instead of taking a real note. Who could possibly made music so mind-numbing? Oh, wait! There she is! I exclaimed as I ferret out from my seat to take a glance at the old lady professor in light blue Suea Pat and indigo Sinh skirt, a Lanna traditional attire, maundering the origin of Menora - a traditional theaterical-dance founded in Narathiwat, a Yawi-majority province in the southernmost of Thailand. Who even care about this? This compulsory subject of Traditional Thai Dance & Music was not what he had expected.

I was surprised that Noh didn't entice me to skip this lecture this time. It was not him at all. Then, I took a look at that buzz-cut head boy on my right side. Damn! He was sleeping soundly on the table rest. No wonder he didn't plan to skip. This lecture hall was a perfect place to take a nap while having your attendance checked. It was a medium sized hall with staged seats and long table rest. Plus, there were lot of students from different faculties as well, as it was one of the compulsory university subjects.

Nevertheless, I'm glad he didn't snore. Not long after pointing that out, Noh began to snore. I jinxed it, shit! Just great, Fuse! We were both thrown out from the class. Seeing those wrinkles on her forehead when burrowing her eye brows, was scary. She gestured us the way out with a long one metre ruler which she loved to hold most of the time. She even warned the others not to even have any thought about taking a nap in her class. In addition, our attandances were crossed out. What a waste of time!

"Why I was thrown out as well?" I disgruntled while rambling through the corridor without any particular place to head for.

"Awwh... sorry Fuse... I know it was my fault. Sorry, sorry, sorry..." Noh repeated the word 'sorry' relentlessly while giving a wai to me.

"You don't have to give a wai, Noh!" I batted his hands and tried to declutch them.

"So, you forgive me then?" Noh beamed directly into my eyes with his glistening and shining eyes.

"Geez... Stop looking at me like that!" I redirected my eyes towards other place. Stop acting all cute, idiot!

"Forgive me na? Na na na?!" Noh was really persistent, wasn't he?

"Err... Alright. Just cut the staring thing. I don't want people to stare at us with weird looks." I gave up. Besides, I was glad to be out from that drudging class.

"To show my sincere apology, today I, Napat, shall be the one to treat you lunch!" Noh announced loudly in formal speech.

Shit! Why this kid had never failed to put me in humiliation again and again?! I wrapped my arm around his neck and fleet immediately from the spot. He shrieked to be freed but both of us know that it wasn't going to happen until we found a safe hide from all the attention we received. And his need to stop showing his tantrum as well!

"I could have chocked to death you know?" He grumbled while palping around his neck. Both of us were panting in exhaustion.

"That's better. It would be easier to drag you." I flickered a smirk towards Noh. And both of us ended laughing at each other.

I always feel easeful and comfortable whenever I am with Noh. He made me feel gemütlich, agreeably pleasant - as a friend. Keep your dirty mind at bay, please. I could behave as myself around him without feeling imposed; greng jai. However, Noh was a person who able to accommodate to his surrounding. He could conduct himself to be polite and well-mannered, if necessary. But it was the insouciane and carefree Noh which made him so endearing.

"Engineering's cafeteria?" Noh looked at me seeking for approval.

"Err... it's fine with me." I repositioned my haversack and lead the way to Puun.
