[3rd POV]

*Knock Knock*

No response.

*Knock Knock*

Maybe I should call.

As Kongpope was about to dial the older man's number, the clanking sound of the door unlocked startled him. Arthit appeared from behind the door looking dozy and sleepy, still in his sleeping clothes with a dishelved hair. His eyes were barely open. He yawned for a second before greeting Kongpope.

"Owh, Kongpope! Morning. Come in."

"Good morning, P'Arthit. Sorry to disturb your sleep."

Arthit just shook his head and whirled his body around heading back to his bed without uttering a single word. Kongpope entered the room and removed his shoes before proceeding any farther. Kongpope brought along some breakfast for both of them; patongkoh and soymilk for him and rice gruel with red pork and pinkmilk for Arthit.

"Are you still sleepy, P'Arthit?" Kongpope asked although he already knew the answer. The ex-head hazer was definitely still sleepy.

"What time is it now?" Arthit vigorously shook his head to awake himself.

"It is half an hour past eight o'clock, P'. It is still early. You can go back to sleep if you want. I will wake you up at ten, then."

Last night, Arthit had to work on his final year project at Knott's place. They ended around two o'clock in the morning. If he hadn't promise Kongpope to go on a date the next morning, he would sleep over at Knott's place without any hesitation. However, he forced himself back to his own room that night. He didn't want to miss his chance to spend time with Kongpope.

Being in final years, the theoritical classes were not that many in comparison to the junior years. However, they had many hands-on projects and group works which were time and energy consuming. This had made Arthit and Kongpope rarely able to hang out or spend quality time together, even on weekends.

It was Kongpope's idea this time. The last time Kongpope remembered going out with Arthit was about three months ago. It wasn't like they hadn't met each other in between, though. They would find time to have dinner together or spend the night at each other's places or something along the lines. However, those didn't count as dates. Date is a quality time spent between lovers doing something special to cheerish each others. It needs to be something extraordinary or out of routine.

Unfortunately, after learning that Arthit would have to work on his project on the Saturday night, Kongpope felt awful about it. He felt that he was being inconsiderate and demandful towards Arthit. Kongpope apologized, dropped the idea and called off the date. But Arthit insisted of going. He convinced Kongpope that he would love to go out with him as well, regardless of his works. After all, he missed Kongpope too.

Kongpope directed his attention to the final year engineering student who had just fallen back to sleep. Seeing Arthit sleeping was enough to make his heart happy and content. How the bangs disarrayed on the forehead were just in place, the slightly gaped lips were so inviting, the pressed cheek was undeniably adorable, and everything was perfect about his Arthit. He could stare at Arthit for hours without feeling bored.

Kongpope helped himself with the breakfast. He poured the soymilk into a glass and kept the pinkmilk in Arthit's refrigerator. His boyfriend loved it cold or else it wouldn't be called nom yen, wasn't it? He nibbled his patongkoh while having a look on the beautiful view of his boyfriend sleeping. Arthit was sleeping in a prone position, on his stomach, with his right arm served as the pillow.
