"we're called the monarchs. us six, and dan. day, night, life, death, nature, music, and space. all controlled by us."
phil looked over to gape at dan, who just kinda shrugged.
"we're immortal. thus, is why you and dan can't work."
"what do you mean, me and dan? and didn't he, like, cross me out of his book?"
"he did, but you're still human. a human and a monarch can not fall in love."
phil felt his stomach turn at the news, but carried on anyway. "what does that have to do with dan and i?"
tyler let out a sigh, looking up. "sweetie, please. you can't be that oblivious."
