"I know that sound," said Eris. "Hurry!"
Violet and I reacted swiftly. We raced down the Temple, killing any Hive in our way in style.

We had to go deeper into the Temple, farther than we've ever gone. It was so dark that our Ghosts were being used as flashlights. The Darkness area was so dark that it was almost increasing the gravity pull from us.
Another echoey roar surpasses us. "Crota! They're waking him!" Said Eris.
I mute my microphone on the comms to say something that I didn't want Eris to hear.
"This lady needs to chill!" I whisper to Violet.
She rolls her eyes with a smile.
"She's scared, Crimson. Crota killed her fireteam. She was lucky to make it out alive," she replied.

When we get to the Ritual, a crystal lodged into the ground stands in the middle, 4 Wizards classified as the Wakers of Crota, and minions bowing down to the crystal.
"Kill the Wakers, before they summon Crota into this realm," said Eris.

I drew my Ice Breaker and shot one of the four Hive Knights in the head and killed him. The Wakers remained calm and didn't move, but the Minions reacted and charged at us.
"Looks like we got trouble," I say.
I look over to Violet and see her smirk.
"Oh this is nothing," she said. "I got this."
I step back as she steps forward. She puts her right hand in front of her chest, but close to it in a claw form. Her fingertips glow purple. Energy hums from her fingers to her palm. The five sides of the energy meet there and combine into a Void orb. 3 Knights charge at her with its swords. Violet swings her hand from left to right sideways like a slapping someone with the back of your hand. She released a Void beam that shot through every Knight in a straight line. It just tore right through them. They froze and succumbed to the Void. She then glided into the air and unleashed four, smaller, Nova Bombs that tracked each Waker, one per Wizard. They all died upon impact. Violet landed on the ground with one hand and both of her legs.
"The crystal, destroy it!" Eris exclaimed.

I activated my Golden Gun and pierced the crystal right through. It spun around with insanity and shattered into pieces. Shattering the soul brought silence into the place.
"You have given me the gift of vengeance, Crimson," said Eris. "I thank you. And even if they don't know it, the city thanks you."

When the job was done, we went to the Tower and checked in with Eris. She gave me a Hive book called, The Books of Sorrow. Then she tells me that when I'm ready, gather a fireteam and raid the Hellmouth to defeat Crota in his physical presence. But for now she said that I can rest.

Maybe Indigo or Violet can make sense of this book. But before I could even speak to one of them, Athena texted me. She texted me that she needed me at the Reef. I call her to explain herself.
"Crimson, I need you here," she said.
"What happened?" I ask.
"No. Nothing happened. It's just that... I just think you need to hear about this."
I thought about this for a second.
"Look, it's not an emergency, but I just think that you should be involved on this," she added.
"Okay," I replied. "I'll be there in a sec."

I rushed to the hanger and teleported into my ship. I turned on the ship and flew into orbit. When I got to orbit, I activated slipspace to the Reef.
"What could she want?" I ask. "Like, I'm not annoyed, but she sounded worried," I said to myself.

"Maybe it's the Queen again?" Nolan thought.

I grunt softly. "If it is, what could she want now?"

When we arrived at the Reef, I see Athena waiting for me as I land. I get out and approach her.
"What's the problem?" I ask her.

"It's Skolas," she said.

"Did he break free again?" Nolan asked, appearing next to me.

"No," replied Athena. "The Queen and Variks are interrogating him in the Prison of Elders. The problem is that what Skolas is saying is... it's just... you just need to see this," she stammered.
