That Friday at lunch... December 8th 12:24pm
We have open campus lunch at my school. Everyday Will and I drive to a local burger place. But today we decide to stay at the school and eat.
Will and I walk into our school cafeteria side by side. As we walk past Haley and her friends, Hayley gets up and runs towards us.
"Hey guys." she says. We hear her and turn around.
"Tell mom that I am going to Jessie's today after school."
I sigh. "Why don't you tell her?"
"I forgot my phone at home. Please?" She asks beggingly. "Ugh. Fine. Learn not to forget your phone." I say and start to walk away with Will. She thanks me and sits back down at her table.
As we walk to our table, I see Caleb out of the corner of my eye. He's staring at me. I guess Will notices too because he looks over at him. Caleb looks down quickly.
Ever since that day, Caleb hasn't spoken or looked at me since and he's terrified of Will.
Now Caleb is in with the jocks. He's on the football team and he's best friends with Charlie. Will used to be on the football team, but he got banned by the coach from it. Considering the coach is Caleb's dad.
Will instead plays on the soccer team. He said he likes it better than football anyway.
Long story short, Will and Caleb used to be best friends. Until Will found out what Caleb did to me and beat the shit out of him.
As I am in my thoughts we reach our table.
