Will's POV
Febuary 21st 2020Have you ever felt like you were falling and you'll never stop falling? I don't mean falling in love. I mean where you can't stop yourself from hurtling toward the ground.
Well, I wish I would hit the ground... Lily hit the ground...
Then she flew back up. From the ground to the clouds. Or you could say she was hurtling toward the ground and then she did.
Life is like never hitting the ground. When you hit the ground...well, I guess that means the opposite of living...
It is a Tuesday morning in February. I am standing outside in the cold next to my mom, Hayley, and Lily's mom and a bunch of other people who don't matter anymore.
They're all background noise, but I don't hear them. All I see is her. Her, who I grew up with. Her, who was my best friend.
And her, whom I fell in love with.I do not hear the background noise. What I hear are the last words she said to me...
"I love you. So, please don't cry. You don't have to say goodbye. Cause I will see you in another life."
Then all else I could do was cry...
