Three: Announcement

*Buzz Buzz*

"Hey S guess what? We got nominated 4 a Utube award, swank right? im going to tell R + J tonight at practice They'll be stoked! ~Lento"

"How amazing, but I've never heard of a Utube award. ~ S.F."

"YK, YouTube where the band puts our vids ~Lento"

"Oh . . . YouTube. Sounds fun. See you later then. ~S.F."

"Yep C U L8R ~Lento"

"Okay guys so I have some really good news to tell," Lento says to us. I already knew what was coming. "So, I got a phone call this morning that we were nominated for the YouTube Awards this year. We got nominated for hottest band, best drummer, best guitarist, best pianist and best looking. Isn't this great?" Jasper giggles like always and Reed lets out a whoop. I nod my head nicely in response instead of acting out. 

The boys start dancing and acting crazy but I remain where I normally stand. In all honesty, I'm thinking of that drawing. Both of them actually the one I drew and the one I didn't. I still can't get my mind wrapped around who the people in the drawing could've been. Lento didn't have a girlfriend. He's sung about it to us too, how he believes everyone has a soulmate and blah blah blah. Honestly relationships are just weird. I don't understand them. Somewhat.

"S, why aren't you celebrating?" Jasper asks me. He must really want to know why because he stopped dancing. I think quick. What could I use as an excuse.

"Just analyzing the fact that we got best guitar player, best pianist, and best drummer but not best bassist. Just found it weird," I tell him. I hope that he bought it.

"That is weird actually. I wonder who they could possibly think is a better bassist than you. Honestly," He says in response and the other two boys stop.

"Yeah we should say something about it, give them our piece of mind," Reed says confidently. Lento nods his head in agreement.

"No you really don't have to do that. I just thought it was weird. I'm not sad about it actually," I tell them trying to calm them down. I didn't care, honest to goodness. 

"Are you serious? You aren't upset about it? . . . Ya know Star you are weird. But that's why we like you," Lento tells me. I blush a little. I really don't know why but when he talks to me like that I just . . . melt. Do humans feel this way too? Maybe it's just me. 

"Haha yep that's me, just really weird," I say in response trying not to sound nervous, or whatever. I strum a note on my bass to make it look like I really want to get playing.

"So guys, Star and I wrote a new song. We worked on it yesterday a bit. It's called voodoo doll. It's gonna sound great," Lento says directing it more towards Reed and Jasper. "Hey J what is that number I told you to write on your hand earlier?"

"Huh? Oh, three dude" Jasper says then laughs a little. 

"Exactly. Three voices we are all going to sing, well not Star but she knows and doesn't care," Lento exclaims. He gives copies of the music to us so we can start practicing. Reed steps away from his piano and gets his guitar. Jasper and Reed take a few minutes to adjust to the song.  We start playing. It sounds . . . magical. I somewhat drift off hearing Lento's smooth voice when we start the song a second time.
