Hey guys the song above is mentioned in the story. I put it there in case you didn't know what the song was. Have fun reading this chapter. New ones every day until completed. =^.^=

". . . celebrate and dance so free," Reed sings. Reed Martinez has probably got to be the best pianist on Earth. Well out of the ones I've heard. I hear Lento sigh. wen t I look at him he puts down his guitar and goes to his music.

"I still can't get that part correct," he sighs. Jasper throws his drumstick at Lento and misses.

"Dude we sound awesome don't beat yourself up about it. We were so W it wasn't funny. Let's just practice it one more time. Ha get it?" Jasper says loudly  when Lento turns around to look at him.

"I agree hundo- p with Jas, we should just practice a little more and maybe you'll get it. What D'ya think Star?" Reed says looking at me. I stiffen up a bit nervous.

"Umm I thought the song sounded great and that Lento's part wasn't that bad. Yeah," I say and the boys chuckle.

"Your responses have the best aesthetic, S," Lento tells me has he slowly picks up his guitar so we can play again. I strum my bass a little waiting for Jaspers drum stick clicks. When I hear them the song starts. The part Lento was stressing about sounded perfect. The first of many.

"Today's practice went awesome I wish Jasper's girlfriend didn't want him home so early so we could go on," Reed states.

"I wish the war would end," I mumble to myself but Jasper hears me.

"Bro, deep. I don't know what you're going through but we're here," he tells me.

"I'm talking about the War on Terror," I tell him. At least the War on Terror is a war currently going on on Earth. The war on my home planet goes by the same name.

"Ok Star, you're just weird in your own way," Jasper responds. He then mumbles, "why is she even in this band?"

"I heard that!" Reed yells to Jasper as he open the door of the studio.

"What," Lento says looking up from his music notebook. He must of been writing another song. Something in this practice must've inspired him. I look at his clueless face. His sparkling blue eyes dart to me and seem to ask,  'do you know what's going on?' I study the area around his eyes. There are slightly dark circles under his eyes, probably from him staying up at night and writing songs or practicing the guitar. The circles help make his eyes look more prominent, or how people here say, make his eyes 'pop'.

"Nothing," I tell Lento and he goes back to writing in his notebook. A piece of his hair falls in front of his face, like always. Girls always swoon over his 'I don't really care' stature. I guess you could say it was . . . cool. I'm not really used to the normal human female things like having crushes on human males. It's kind of weird actually. Maybe I should fake liking a human male so I'm not criticized.

"Hey Star can you come over here before you leave," Lento calls to me, breaking my thoughts. I walk over to him, a little nervous.

"Um, yeah?" I ask him and he looks up.

"Can you read this song tonight and tell me what you think of it tomorrow at practice?" he asks handing me his notebook. I'm shocked actually because Lento never really lets anyone touch his song notebook. He must have too much trust in me to be giving me this responsibility.

"Uh, sure thing," I tell him and I pick up my guitar case to leave. Once I'm outside I look down at the title of the song.

"Galaxy Girl"
