(sorry for short chapter)

Alex's POV.
I woke up suddenly. I looked around and started panicking. Where was I? Where were John, Hercules and Laf?
I find myself in a badly lit room. I recognise it. The walls, the toys and the drawings on the walls. I turn, noticing two, black, shadowy figures in the corner, sitting together. As a loud crack of thunder brought me back to reality, I stared at the figures. They seemed to be hiding, or trying to anyway. I walk over to them, being careful not to scare them. As I got closer, I could make out certain features. One of the boys, had hair like mine, but slightly shorter. The other had dark, curly hair. I could see their faces. I knew them from somewhere. Curly hair, hazel eyes and a slightly freckled face. The other, hazel eyes, slouchy posture, and long hair. They didn't seem to notice me, even if I spoke to them. It was at that moment when I realised who they were:
A young Alexander Hamilton and a younger James Hamilton. Without warning, the door gave way, and water poured in from the hole. I watched, horrified, as I relived the worst memory of my life. It grabs James, and drags his helpless, speechless body in the waves. I hear crying; it was less sad and more desperate. It was young Hamilton's cry for help, as I saw my younger self desperately try to escape the waves. I hear a scream.
Everything goes black.

"ALEX!" I hear someone scream, but I ignore it.
"ALEX, PLEASE!" I can't move.
"JOHN!" I hear it screaming.
I have one thought in my mind: it was my fault.
"HERCULES, ITS THREE AM!"
"JOHN! PLEASE, ALEX WON'T RESPOND-" I heard it's voice crack.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, HERC?"
"I DONT KNOW, I WOKE UP AND HEARD HIM SCREAM! JOHN, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!"
"I DON'T! HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?"
All I could think was that it was my fault. James wouldn't have died if I had saved him.
"ALEX?" He kept saying.
"ALEX! PLEASE RESPOND! THAT'S IT. IM GETTING YOU UP." I felt something tug my arm as I tried to stand up. And like clockwork, my legs lost strength and I fell to the ground, blacking out.
It was all my fault.
