I woke up early, to find a note next to me.

I got up, and did my hair. Alex was right, It did frizz. After scraping it into a ponytail, I take out my phone.

John: hey Peg,
U up yet?

Peggy: JOHN. ITS FIVE AM.

John: for us it's 11 am.

Peggy: lucky you.
How's SMOL BEAN doing?

John: he's good Peg.
Shaken up, but fine.
He hasn't seen this place in ages.

Peggy:  did he come back
last night?

John: yes, at 1am.
I'm taking care of him.

How's Eliza?

Peggy: she's been complaining
everyday since Alex left.
She can't function without her
best friend.

John: same with Alex.
Seriously, it's kinda funny.

OMG when ur around eachother,
Alex blushed madly. He stutters too.

Herc wakes up shortly.
"Mornin' John. You're up early."
"Yeah. I'm not sure why."
"Where's Alex?"
"Theo dragged him shopping."
"Oh god. He needs help."
I give a small laugh, and hear Laf snore lightly.
"Is that Laf?" I asked, grinning.
"Yes."
"Oh sorry, I didn't recognise him with his mouth shut."
"ROASTED!" Herc shouted, waking up Lafayette.
Laf looked plain confused. We all rolled on the floor laughing. Today was already going to be a great day.
I text Alex.

John: how u holding up?
Is Theo killing you?

Alex: if dragging me around
makeup stores in this heat
counts as torture in your book,
shes torturing me.
