ALEX'S POV.
I looked at the gun in my hand. A small, thin, black model. Legacy. Will this be my legacy? Laurens, I liked you a lot. Hercules, your pants were hot. Lafayette, you were rock hard like Lancelot. I loved you guys.
I fiddled with the trigger. I aimed it at my chest. Immediately, I pushed the trigger.
Black.

John's POV.
I hear a gunshot. "I will be in a better place."
Fuck.
"ALEX?" I scream out.
"ELIZA! PLEASE ELIZA!"
I heard her sprint down to my place and read the text.
"The gunshot... John. Stay here." she said, as she ran into the woods.
I hear her scream and start crying hysterically.
"GET A TEACHER. OR A MEDIC, JOHN! JUST GO!" I did as I was told. I found Mr. Franklin, and immediately led him to Eliza. She was kneeling on the ground crying, telling me not to look.
I failed to obide. I saw Alex, a gun in his hand with an empty barrel. A note was placed there, where he lay saying:
To Angelica. I'm sorry, I can't handle another lost friendship.
Signed: A.Ham.
I looked down at his shirt, to see a huge blood stain on it, spreading rapidly. I felt my whole world crumbling at once. This was it.
I ran back crying to Herc and Laf, who were having dinner in the cafeteria. As I reached them, a voice over the loud speaker blurted out,
"Sorry to all students. Please all file in at the front desk, as we have had a suicide attempt this afternoon at 16:38, by Alexander Hamilton."
I heard Laf gasp and Herc burst into tears.
They looked at me. My eyes were red and I was shaking. My boyfriend can't be dead. He can't die!
I ran to the front desk so I can escape the crowd and find Alex. After looking for a while, I heard the mechanical scream of an ambulance. I ran to Mr. Franklin, who said that he was still breathing.
"I'm sorry, Laurens. Do you by any chance have any relation? Brother? Cousin?"
"I'm his best friend and boyfriend!" I blurted out, too quick for anyone to understand.
"I promise he'll be okay, John."
I felt a tug in my arm from Laf.
